I have too many delusions that some dry place is left when I make ghusl. How can I get rid of it?
Dear Brother / Sister,
It is difficult for a person to know whether any dry place is left in ghusl or not. Therefore, the criterion is not knowing. Pouring water down the head and shoulders is enough. Five minutes is enough for it. If a person pours water down over himself for five minutes, it is regarded that the whole body has been wetted and there is no dry place left. If there is some place left that you do not know, ghusl is valid.
Satan causes delusions in man to alienate him from religion and to make worshipping unbearable. It is necessary not to be deceived by the delusions of Satan. To stay in the bathroom for hours by being affected by the delusions of Satan is not what Allah's consent necessitates. Such a person wastes a lot of water while trying to make ghusl properly. A person must not seek Allah’s consent by making ghusl for hours.
