How many types of human faces are there? What is the secret of the faces of white people, black people, Japanese people, etc. and the divine wisdom behind them?

Dear Brother / Sister,
1. There are as many complexions as the number of the people on earth. For, no complexion is the same as another. The complexions of people are arranged differently so that they will enable their identities to be determined just like fingerprints.
2. “The number of complexions” is not mentioned in the Quran and hadiths but the existence of different complexions is mentioned.
“He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He pleases.” (Aal-i Imran, 375),
“O man! What has seduced thee from thy Lord Most Beneficent?- Him Who created thee. Fashioned thee in due proportion, and gave thee a just bias; In whatever Form He wills, does He put thee together.” (al-Infitar, 82/6-8)
In the verses above, it is pointed out that people were created, fashioned and shaped in different ways based on Allah’s will and wish.
“And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the variations in your languages and your colors: verily in that are Signs for those who know.” (Rum, 30/22)
It is pointed out in the verse above that people have different complexions.
- According to what Abu Musa al-Ashari states, the Prophet (pbuh) said,
“Allah created (first man) Adam from a handful of soil He took from the whole earth. Therefore, Adam’s children/humans had so different colors. Some of them became white, some reddish-blond, some black and some yet other shades of colors.”(Ibn Kathir, the interpretation of ar-Rum, 30/22)
3. It is accepted by exact sciences that people have different complexions. It is not possible for an atheist to claim something different. It is necessary to remember that what an atheist needs the most is the issue of Allah’s existence and oneness. It is not possible for a person who does not believe in Allah to believe that the Quran is Allah’s word. Risale-i Nur Books are among the main books that explain belief in Allah and that show the wrongness of atheism in the strongest and best way. We recommend those books strongly. We think it will be useful to contact the people who have a good command of those books in order to know about those issues in a short time. As you know, the following is stated in a hadith:
“Causing a person to become a believer is better than having red sheep covering all deserts.” (Majmauz-Zawaid, 5/334)
4. The equality of the number of the eyes, ears, hands, feet, fingers, etc. in people witnesses that they were created by the same Maker and hence the oneness of Allah; the differences in things like complexions, colors and languages witness Allah’s will. For, differences show a choice, a preference made by a will, which is a reflection of Allah’s absolute will.
- As it is mentioned in item 2, “And among His Signs is the creation of the heavens and the earth, and the variations in your languages and your colors: verily in that are Signs for those who know” (Rum, 30/22), the verse above points out those facts.
