How do we know that Allah does not lie about His attributes in the Quran (God forbid)?
- There are hundreds of attributes of Allah in the Quran. How do we know that they are not lies (God forbid)?
- What if Allah deceives His slaves (God forbid)?
Dear Brother / Sister,
Let us imagine an exceptionally talented and artistic architect who builds an unprecedentedly magnificent palace and then demolishes it.
Or, let us imagine a magnificent calligrapher who throws away a unique work that he has worked on for a long time when he finishes it.
Or, let us imagine an artist who makes valuable paintings, tears them apart and destroys them as he finishes them.
Those examples and similar ones that we can add are irrational for man, who consists of a void blowing from Allah’s names and attributes; similarly, it will be infinitely irrational for God Almighty, who created this universe and this world as a place for an exhibition and display for His names and attributes of absolute perfection to watch them first with His own eyes and then with the eyes of others.
Within all the confusion in the universe and the world, all of which is in front of our eyes, we see that there is an extraordinary order and system; there is no being, from nonliving beings to plants, from animals to birds and fish, that gets confused and abandons its duty.
It is unthinkable that the Creator of the universe, who created such a magnificent order, would be engaged in wrong and unnecessary things - God forbid.
Since He cannot be engaged in wrong and unnecessary things, what He says is true.
Since what God Almighty says is true, He never deceives His slaves.
Since He does not deceive them, whatever He says about anything, including His names and attributes, is true and right; the opposite is unthinkable.
Yes.
That the Quran is a true book from the beginning to the end, that every verse of it confirms one another, that it mentions every issue that comes to mind and makes judgments but no contradiction has been found in it for 1400 years and its unique rhetoric prove that it is not possible for the author of such a book to lie or deceive His slaves.
