Do closed earring holes prevent ghusl? What should be done about the earring holes that are no longer used (for wearing earrings)?
I read all the issues about earrings but I could not find the answer I had been looking for. My ears were pierced when I was very young but they thought the holes were quite high to wear earrings and pierced them again; I also had a few more holes pierced afterwards. There are a lot of holes in my ears. I have not used a few of them for a long time. Even if I rub, the holes are not opened. I need to have them pierced again and empty what is inside. What should I do with the blocked holes?
Dear Brother / Sister,
If the holes closed as a result of the flesh of the ear being united, it is not necessary to have them pierced and washed inside. If the holes are filled with dirt, they need to be cleaned if it is possible.
For instance, if earrings are put into them easily, they can be cleaned by the earrings. There is no need to force them more; they do not prevent ghusl.
