The Details of the Question
Assalam mualaikum wrwb,
Yesterday I forwarded a question to you and till today, Masha Allah I have not seen the reply.
I hope you will be able to enlighten me with an answer asap.
I need to take action on this as time is closing on me.
JazakaAllah Hu Khair. The Answer
Dear Brother / Sister,
If your helping (alms/sadaqa) does not pose an obstacle for paying off your dept, then there is no harm. If you are paying off your dept by installments then you can still continue to give money to your old aged relatives. However you should give priority to your payee.
