The Details of the Question
After having performed a prayer, is it necessary for a woman to perform it again if she realizes that a few strands of her hair or more is visible? The Answer
Dear Brother / Sister,
The prayer is invalidated if the head of a woman is totally uncovered in prayer. However, the prayer is not invalidated if 1/4 of her head is uncovered. Thus, when some part of the hair of a woman is visible under her headscarf, the prayer is not invalidated.
However if more than 1/4 of her hair is uncovered during the prayer, the prayer is invalidated; so, she has to perform her prayer again.
