Is it permissible for a woman to dye her hair when she is in menstruation and puerperium?
Dear Brother / Sister,
If some place is left dry in one of the organs that is necessary to wash while making wudu, that wudu is not valid. It is necessary to wash all parts of the body that water can reach while making ghusl.
Thus, there must not be a layer on the organs that are necessary to wash while making wudu or ghusl. Things like nail polish, which form a layer on the body and prevent water from reaching the body, prevent wudu and ghusl. It is necessary to remove them before wudu or ghusl. However, things that do not form a layer like hair dye and henna do not prevent wudu and ghusl.
Accordingly, using hair dye that does not form a layer on the body when a woman is in menstruation and puerperium does not prevent ghusl.
