Can we use technologies in whose development Satan was instrumental?

- Can we use technologies in whose development Satan was instrumental, like computers, google, opera, etc.?
- Take rocket science for example; the rocket engine was developed by Jack Parson, a satanist. He stated that he was helped by Satan. Modern science has taken a lot from Kabbalah. Kabbalah is considered a part of occult knowledge. Web sources say that this part was developed with the help of Satan. Chemistry and physics have taken many things from Kabbalah.
- Should we learn this knowledge like physics and chemistry?
- What does Islam say regarding the issue?

Dear Brother / Sister,

- We do not know how far the demons have developed technology. They may have suggested ideas to people even if they did not do it directly themselves. In particular, they may have inculcated the production and use of technology that is harmful to humanity.

The following statement of Badiuzzaman Said Nursi seems to point to this “suggestion of idea”:

“Thus, the vast meaning and mighty truth expressed by verse 88 of al-Isra is imagined by those of scant intelligence to be an impossible supposition for the purposes of uttering an exaggerated piece of eloquence. God forbid! It is not an exaggeration, nor is it an impossible supposition; it is an absolutely truthful piece of rhetoric, and possible and actual.

One aspect of its being in this form is this: if all the fine words of man and jinn which do not issue from the Quran and do not belong to it were to be gathered together, they could not imitate the Quran. And they have not been able to imitate it, for they have been unable to show that they have.

The second aspect is this: civilization, and science and philosophy and European literature, which are the products of the thought and efforts of mankind and the jinn and even satans, remain in the very pits of impotence before the decrees, wisdom, and eloquence of the Qur’an. Just as we showed in the examples.” (Sözler, pp. 411-412)

- As for the issue of whether it is permissible to use today’s technology aided by the devils,

it is good and permissible to use technology for the benefit of humanity, no matter who produces it.

“And of the evil ones, were some who dived for him (Solomon), and did other work besides; and it was We Who guarded them.” (see al-Anbiya, 21/82),

“As also the evil ones, (including) every kind of builder and diver,- As also others bound together in fetters.” (see Sad, 38/37, 38)

It is pointed out in the verses of the Quran above that the devils did various things for the Prophet Sulayman (Solomon).

So, there is no harm in using the technology that the devils made as long as it is not against religion and harmful to people.

- To sum up, there is no religious objection to using any modern technology that is not harmful to the religion and the world of Muslims, and there is nothing wrong in imitating their style in these issues.

Satan is an unbeliever of jinn and human unbelievers are human devils.
