What do you think of the understanding that calls energy Allah with an approach that says energy is everywhere and it is eternal?
Dear Brother / Sister,
It is a scientific fact that energy is not eternal but was created later.
Energy, like other substances, lacks the power to create.
The presence of energy in every space is something different. The sun’s light is also present everywhere, on all the planets in its system. The presence of energy in a place is a sign that it was created later because a pre-eternal being does not reside in the beings that were created later.
The fact that energy enters into different material forms is the clearest proof that it is not eternal because an eternal being does not turn into a being created afterwards. It is the common view of Islamic theology, philosophy, and positive science that variability is the clearest proof of creation.
The fact that Allah is omnipresent means omnipresence, not by His essence, but by His knowledge and power.
The Prophet (pbuh) emphasizes that Allah is the only eternal being by saying, “There was Allah and there was nothing else with Him.” (Bukhari, Maghazi, 67, 74)
Whatever we envisage in in our minds and imaginations, it is definitely not Allah because Allah does not resemble anything. However, whatever we imagine, there is always a resemblance to something that we saw.
As for your other question, is it possible to hesitate that Allah can lift this or that stone though He turns the Sun and celestial bodies thousands of times larger than the Sun like a slingshot? The use of the expression “Allah is omnipotent (has power over everything)” repeatedly in the Quran aims to destroy such delusions.
