The Answer
Dear Brother / Sister,
It is wajib to read silently in noon and afternoon prayers. Therefore, reading aloud is not possible in these prayers. It is permissible to read aloud in the morning, evening and night prayers.
Besides, a person who follows the imam in congregation has to keep silent. If a person reads aloud when it is necessary to read silently, it is necessary for him to perform sajdah as-sahw.
