PERFECTION IN THE CREATION OF GIRAFFE

We will mention a living being that is the tallest one of the living beings on land. Giraffes, known for their long legs, long necks and spots peculiar to them, can weigh up to 1.5 tons with their height of 5-6 meters. These living beings, which have a very interesting body design, tell us about Allah, who is the creator, with all their features and reveals the unique beauty in His art and creation.

They can reach the top branches of the trees thanks to their long necks and eat the plants very easily. The thorny plants that giraffes swallow without chewing go to their four-chambered stomach first. Then, they send them back to their mouths to digest and chew them. Finally, they swallow them again and send them another part of the stomach. What is interesting here is that it is necessary for the food in the stomach go up to the giraffe’s neck, which is about 3-4 meters long, to reach the mouth. How is it possible? The giraffes have an elevator-like system that send the food upward from the esophagus.

Who built the elevator-like system that allow giraffes to send what they have eaten back to their mouths that are very high above their stomachs to digest what they eat? How can a person who attributes a lifeless building made of stone and soil and the elevator in it to a master attribute this perfect body, which is like a living building and has an elevator system, to chance, evolution and causes? What unconscious cause and blind chance can be the doer of these perfect acts in which infinite knowledge, will, power and precaution are visible?

The tongues of giraffes are also quite interesting. The tip of the giraffe’s tongue, which can be as long as 50 cm, is covered with a leather-like structure. Thus, giraffes can very easily eat prickly acacia trees and cacti, which are their basic food. These living beings, which have to consume about 35-40 kg of plants every day, would never be able to feed if they did not have such a tongue. So, how did the giraffe have this perfect tongue? Why is its tongue, which can be as long as 50 cm, not like that of other living beings? Who is the one that covered the tip of its tongue with a leather-like structure by having mercy on him so that it could eat thorny plants? What cause other than Allah may have done it?

We will mention another feature of these giraffes, which are a wonder of creation in all aspects. There is a big problem for giraffes when they want to drink water. Since giraffes are 5-6 meters tall, the blood pressure effecting the head descending from this height will also be quite big. If this blood pressure were applied to a human being, he would die immediately as his brain would break into pieces. How come giraffes do not have a brain hemorrhage while drinking water? Because there is a very special mechanism in their heads. There are valves inside the veins in the heads of giraffes. These valves are activated when the height of the giraffe's head changes, preventing blood from applying pressure on the giraffe's head. Thus, the giraffe can drink water easily. Yes, the valves measuring the pressure inside the veins in the head of the giraffe can be placed only by a being with several attributes like knowledge, power, will and mercy; is it possible to claim that the giraffe comes into being through causes, which have no knowledge, power, will and mercy?

The giraffe has quite a large heart as it will be difficult to pump blood into its brain because of its long neck. The heart of a giraffe is 30 times the size of the heart of an adult human being. This heart, which is approximately 12 kg, can pump 50 liters of blood per minute. In addition, the giraffe's heart rate is quite high compared to its size. The giraffe has a heart that beats 150-170 times per minute. Its blood pressure is 280/180. For example, the blood pressure of an average person is 120/80. What coincidence hit the giraffe to make it have a heart that is exactly the required size and that could pump 50 liters of blood per minute?

While it is impossible to accept that even a simple picture of a heart drawn on paper occurs on its own, how do those who deny creation regard it possible for this real and magnificent heart to form by itself?

It is impossible for unconscious causes to come together and form conscious beings; similarly, and lifeless causes can never come together and form a living being on their own.

Is it possible for the causes to form the giraffe to come together and place an elevator-like system in the body that will take food up from the esophagus to the mouth?

Is it possible for the unconscious causes to come together and fix a 50 cm tongue covered with a leather-like structure so that giraffes can eat thorny plants?

Or is it possible for them to make the valves that measure the pressure in the veins and a heart of suitable size for the body since it will be difficult to pump blood into the brain in the head?

Yes, trying to explain all these deeds with causes, evolution, and chance is something that reason, logic, conscience and mercy cannot accept. Just like this giraffe, all beings state that it is Allah, who has infinite mercy, wisdom, will and power, with the tongue of knowledge, wisdom, mercy and precaution that are visible on them; and they tell us about Allah, their creator.
