DOLPHINS, WONDERS OF CREATION!
We will mention a living being that is one of the most intelligent beings of the animal kingdom and that approaches human beings the most. They are the smiling living beings of the seas: dolphins. Like every living being, dolphins are magnificent creatures created with a body to continue living.
The dolphin, one of the best swimming creatures of the sea, is about 2.5 meters tall and 150 kg. Despite this weight, dolphins can hunt their prey quickly and briskly, without any difficulty in the sea. Their smooth and slippery skins allow them to move fast in the water and swim briskly. Another feature that enables them to swim fast is their noses. Their noses are created in the most convenient way so that they can swim very quickly in water. This state of theirs also inspired humans and they regarded the structure of these living beings as a model in the ships they made.
Dolphins have to come up to the surface of the water to breathe at regular intervals while swimming. Therefore, unlike other fish, their tails are not vertical, but horizontal. Thus, they can easily push themselves up to the surface of the water and breathe the air outside into them and dive into the water again.
Dolphins breathe through the blowhole located at the top part of their heads. During diving, the blowhole is closed automatically with elastic “flaps”. Neither water nor food can enter the respiratory system. Therefore, dolphins can feed in deep waters without the fear of drowning and can reach a speed of 40 km per hour. They have the ability to store oxygen in their tissues, especially in their muscles. For this reason, they can stay at a depth of 200 meters for 10 minutes.
Dolphins can easily notice the swarms of fish that are miles away thanks to their sense of hearing. Dolphins emit sound waves thanks to a system similar to the device called "sonar" in their bodies. The sonar possessed by dolphins is much better than the best-known sonar today. If a fish or an obstacle comes in front of those sound waves, they hit it and return; thus, the dolphin can measure the distance, size, and speed of the surrounding objects or fish. In this way, they can perceive the location of the fish that they will hunt from a distance of many kilometers.
Now we ask: How did these dolphins, which are wonders of creation in all aspects, come into being? We ask those who want to deny the creation of these wonderful living beings and try to explain it through causes or coincidences:
Dolphins are excellent hunters. Who taught these dolphins the intelligence needed to hunt, to plan, to be fast and agile? Who sewed the slippery and smooth body suit that allows them to move quickly in water and swim briskly? How did they get the most suitable nose structure to swim quickly that inspired even human beings as a model in the construction of ships? How can it be explained through unconscious causes and blind coincidence that their tails, with which they can easily push themselves up to the surface of the water, are not vertical but horizontal, unlike other fish, which clearly shows the manifestation of a will, knowledge and power? Did the system in the blowhole located at the top part of the head that opens when the dolphin is on the water and closes automatically while diving occur coincidentally? How did dolphins acquire the ability to store oxygen in their muscles and tissues?
Who placed the sonar system that is much better than the best-known sonar today in these living beings? How can a person who attributes the existence of even a small device to an engineer and a master attribute the sonar system that is much better than the best-known sonar today in dolphins to chance and causes? Who taught these living beings how to send the sound waves thanks to this sonar system and to interpret the size, distance and speed of the fish they will hunt according to the speed of the returning sound waves?
If the mind cannot see artist and the doer though the eye sees the art and the deed, these unanswerable questions will go on and on. In fact, to see these magnificent deeds in living beings and not to accept Allah, who is their doer, and to attribute the knowledge, will, and power that appear in them to mindless and unconscious causes and blind chance means to accept as many deities as the number of the causes instead of accepting one deity. Yes, just like these dolphins, all other living beings tell us with their body structures and lives about Allah, who has infinite mercy, power and knowledge, who creates them, makes them live and gives them the organs that suit their needs.
