Is it permissible to wear a necklace or bracelet with the inscription of the word Allah?
- Is it appropriate for young men or boys to wear a necklace or bracelet with the inscription of the word Allah?
- I have been interested in buying a necklace with the inscription of the word Allah in Arabic for a long time. I am not sure if a boy or a man is allowed to wear it.
- I have no intention of showing it to others or trying to be like the opposite gender.
- If it is permissible, what should I pay attention to?

Dear Brother / Sister,
Men cannot wear gold ornaments. (see Ibn Majah, Libas 19)
The word of Allah inscribed on a non-gold necklace for men, and a gold necklace or bracelet for women can be helpful if the aim is to remember Him.
