I have a question about if Noah’s was regional, if so how is Noah the second father of humanity?
If Noah’s flood was regional, how is Noah the second father of humanity? There was a great flood that happened in the land that Noah was alive at. But it didn’t effect the other surrounding lands and Noah’s sons if I remember correctly supposedly repopulated the earth. So how is it possible for Noah to be the second father of humanity? Did his sons migrate to other lands and birth their descendants on those or something like that?
Dear Brother / Sister,
This expression is used according to the view that Noah’s Flood occurred throughout the entire earth. However, even if that were the case, the phrase “second father” still does not fully reflect the truth because there were also other men on the ark.
On the other hand, according to the understanding that the Flood occurred only in a specific region, this expression would not be appropriate anyway.
