Dear Brother / Sister,
There is not a certain standard of time for Azrail (the angel of death) to remove spirits.
Besides, it is not possible to guess in how many minutes will Azrail (Azrael) remove one’s spirit before seeing him. For, the time of Azrail’s removing the spirit from the body and the time of the diseases and the throes of death are not the same.
It is based on the predestination of Allah’s wisdom.
Those who die of a heart attack die at once. Those who die of a lungs disease sometimes remain ill for days.
We should say that the sins of some people are erased due to vital illnesses. Some people reach the rank of sainthood due to some diseases.
Therefore, instead of thinking about this issue, we should try to gather the spiritual sustenance that we will need when we die.
