Can a woman join wars as a soldier?
- Is it true that Hanafi madhhab allows Muslim women to join the battlefield as soldiers?
- For example, many Muslim women fought in the battle of Yarmouk, including Hind, the wife of Abu Sufyan, and Khawla, who was a senior general and such a skilled fighter that many people thought she was Khalid bin Walid.
- Accordingly, is it true that the Hanafi madhhab allows Muslim women to fight in wars?

Dear Brother / Sister,
It is one thing for women to be conscripted as warriors, and another thing for them to actually take part in battle when they are on the battlefield for other duties if the circumstances make it necessary.
No scholar has any objection to the latter.
As for the former, it depends on the circumstances making it necessary.
