Travelling for umrah without mahram, will the umrah be accepted?
Share
The Details of the Question
I know it isn’t permissible to travel without a mahram. But I’m flying for umrah from a different country and my mahram will meet me at umrah but they are flying from a different country. I will enter state of Ingram before boarding the plane for my travel so technically the sin of travelling without a mahram will be committed while in state of Ihram. So I wanted to ask if my umrah will be accepted or will it be invalidated?
The Answer
Dear Brother / Sister,
Yes, the ʿumrah is valid. Moreover, if there is safety and security, there is no sin.
