Do the feet bones of the whales, the backbones of the snakes, the extensions of the dogs' feet not constitute evidence for evolution?

The Answer

Dear Brother / Sister,

Every living thing, including whales, snakes and dogs, has been created according to a multi-purpose program. There is no extra or missing organ in their bodies. An organ generally has more than one duty.

The duty of biologists is to show the functions and duties of each organ. However, some biologists take the easy way out and describe the organ whose duty they do not know as unnecessary and extra. They even acts a bit ideologically and claim that the organs that they regard as having no duty remained from those animals’ primitive ancestors that they claim those animals evolved from.

The view ‘if an organ is used, it will develop, and if it is not used, it will atrophy’ put forward by Lamarck in the last century has no scientific value. Changes in the soma cells of a living being do not pass to its offspring. For example, the children of a person whose arm has been cut off will not be born without arms.  However, the changes in reproductive cells and zygotes pass on to the offspring. Therefore, no organ of the whale atrophied because it was not used in the past generation and took its present form.

The structures included in the question that are claimed to constitute evidence for evolution are always dealt with the ideology of Lamarck and they are considered as organs remaining from ancestors of these creatures supposed to have lived in the past. If the biologists had done serious research on what the functions of those organs were instead of claiming that they were unnecessary, it would definitely have been revealed that those organs had more than one duty for those living beings and that they were vital organs.

It should be known that this type of opinion, which is claimed as evidence for evolution and which claims that some extra organs are useless has no scientific value and should not be taken seriously. For, an issue that does not enter the laboratory and cannot be tried is a philosophical thought, not scientific knowledge.

Let alone an extra organ, even an atom is not unnecessary in a living being. Each atom has at least one specific duty in the living being it exists. How can an organ be considered unnecessary for a living being even if an atom is not unnecessarily present in its body?

Allah has created nothing in vain and at large. As a necessity of the His name Hakim (the All-Wise), everything is created based on measurements, a system, an order, a plan and wisdom.
