One Supplication Every Week- 9th Week

The following was reported from Sa’d b. Abi Waqqas:

“We were with the Messenger of Allah (pbuh). He asked us, «Is one amongst you powerless to get one thousand virtues every day. Amongst those who had been sitting there, one asked: ‘How can one amongst us get one thousand virtues every day?’ He said: If one of you says one hundred times after fard prayers,  

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ اَللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ 

one thousand virtues are recorded for him and one thousand sins of him are deleted.»”

Muslim, Dhikr, 37 (2698)

Note: The hadith above indicates the glorification uttered 33 times each after fard prayers. The following sentence makes it a hundred: 

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ

 وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
