How does the person asking this question know that Adam and Eve had the same blood type? Did he check their blood type?

Every characteristic of a human is controlled by a pair of genes. One of these genes comes from the mother and the other from the father.

Genes A, B and O determines the blood type. In a human, these genes may take place in the form of one of these: AA, AO, BB, BO, AB and OO. Gene O is recessive compared to A and B. So genes AA and genes AO make the blood type A. Likewise, genes BB and BO makes type B; AB makes AB and OO makes the blood type O. In another words, in a person of blood type A the genes that determine the blood type are either AA or AO. If Adam had AO and Eve had BO genes, the following situation would occur.

As it is seen in the diagram, if Adam had A and Eve had B blood types with heterozygote genetic structure, todays four blood types can come out.

The point that should be explained here is how the BO structured blood passed to Eve from Adam who had AO structure. Note that both Adams and Eves creation was not from some parents.

Because there was no mother and father in this creation, we cannot apply Mendels law here. It is normal that we cannot explain by Mendels law how Eve got type B (Eve was created from the rib of Adam) from Adam which is A because here the first creation is in question.

When people think that coincidence or nature creates the occurrences in the universe, these kinds of questions will go on. However, we should consider the occurrences in terms of the infinite knowledge and power of Almighty Allah. Then, we can realize that for Him creating all the blood types or all the humans is as easy as creating one blood type or one human being.
