The Answer
Dear Brother / Sister,
There are hadiths about reading Ayat-al Kursiyy after prayers. The hadith Husayn b. Ali narrated is as follows: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said,
"If a person reads Ayat-al Kursiyy after prayers, he will be under Allah’s protection until the next prayer."1
A hadith reported from Abu Umma is as follows:
"If a person reads Ayat-al Kursiyy and the chapter of al-Ikhlas after every fard prayer, nothing but death can prevent him from going to Paradise."2
Footnotes:
1. Tabarani narrated the hadith.
2. The chain of narrators of the hadith is sound. Nasai and Tabarani narrated it.
