Divorce Question

The Details of the Question
Assalamu-Alaikum
My husband is privy to information
about me, things
that should not be mentioned even if
we are
divorced; when I was younger, sadly
I was beaten
and molested, he knows this and
has recently ned
used it against me, the only reason I
can think for
him to do such a thing is that he is
now trying to
mentally break me. He is making a
mockery out of a
traumatic memory of mine and I was
wondering if
you could tell me if he is allowed to
do this to me?

The Answer
Dear Brother / Sister,
As he does not have the right to do this, it is a sin to put this into words. You are not responsible for the molestation done to you. The very guilty ones are those who molested you and who regard you as guilty.
