Does awwabin prayer replace missed fard prayers? How is awwabin prayer performed?

I have a lot of missed prayers but I perform awwabin prayer. Does awwabin prayer replace my missed fard prayers when I perform it? How many rak'ahs does awwabin prayer consist of?

Nafilah prayers do not replace missed fard prayers. Therefore, to perform awwabin prayers does not replace missed fard prayers.
