According to verses 4 and 5 of the chapter of at-Tahrim, Allah, Jibril (Gabriel) and even angels intervene in the private life of the Prophet (pbuh). He says, “I will marry better ones if I divorce you.” Allah’s sending such verses seems illogical to me.
Dear Brother / Sister,
First, let us write the meaning of the relevant verses so that everyone can see how verses of the Quran are misinterpreted and distorted:
“If ye two turn in repentance to Him, your hearts are indeed so inclined; But if ye back up each other against him, truly Allah is his Protector, and Gabriel, and (every) righteous one among those who believe,- and furthermore, the angels - will back (him) up. It may be, if he divorced you (all), that Allah will give him in exchange consorts better than you,- who submit (their wills), who believe, who are devout, who turn to Allah in repentance, who worship (in humility), who travel (for Faith) and fast,- previously married or virgins.” (at-Tahrim, 66/4-5).
As it can be seen, there is not even a single word in the verse showing that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said, “… Even angels intervene in my private life; they will support me and I will marry better ones if I divorce you.”
Thinking that some of the verses of the Quran, which has been in the heart of millions of hafizes at a level that has not been experienced by any other book and in the hearts of millions of Islamic scholars each of which shone as a star of humanity and the sun of their own field of specialization when they lived and from whose thoughts the world has benefited for fifteen centuries, are not from Allah means an open attack on all the minds, wisdom and knowledge of those superior minds. Considering one’s own mind superior to the collective mind of millions of people whose minds are admired by the world’s scientific and intellectual circles is not an attitude that can be explained with common sense.
The Prophet (pbuh) told one of his wives something secret and warned her not to tell it to anyone. However, she told it to another wife of the Prophet. When the Prophet (pbuh) was informed about it through revelation, he reproached his wife for telling his secret to someone else. When his wife asked how he knew about it, the Prophet (pbuh) said, “Allah, who knows and is well-acquainted with all things, told me.” That fact is emphasized in the following verse:
“When the Prophet disclosed a matter in confidence to one of his consorts, and she then divulged it (to another), and Allah made it known to him, he confirmed part thereof and repudiated a part. Then when he told her thereof, she said, ‘Who told thee this?’ He said, ‘He told me Who knows and is well-acquainted (with all things).’” (Tahrim, 66/3)
The issues mentioned in verses 4 and 5 of the same chapter are continuation of that incident.
Since some news about the unseen is in question in the information given in verse 3, which narrates the main part of the incident, there is a clear miracle proving the prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh); however, it is a very strange prejudice not to accept it with one’s mind and to try to block the minds of other Muslims.
