The Answer
Dear Brother / Sister,
There is no rule about reading this or that supplication while visiting tombs; one can pray as he wishes. However, it is necessary not to expect help from the dead person in the tomb while praying.
It is Sunnah to greet the dead people in the graveyard as follows:
"Peace be upon you, O abode of believing people! You have gone ahead of us and verily we will join you soon. We ask Allah for well-being for us and for you.” (Ibn Majah, Janaiz 36,1/493, No.1546)
