Is it appropriate to pray by saying let this happen as soon as possible?

The Details of the Question
- Is it appropriate to pray by saying let this happen “as soon as possible” in prayers?
- Or is it necessary to specify a certain time?
The Answer
Dear Brother / Sister,
We should not forget that whatever we ask for in our prayer, only our Lord knows whether it will be good for us.
Therefore, what we need to do is to ask from Allah what we want and to pray for the best for us from Him.
Thus, we can make requests including “time”, but we should finish our prayer by saying, “if it is good, in a good way” by surrendering to and trusting in Him.
After the prayer, we should consent to the result that will come out and we should say, “So, this is the best for us!..”
