The Answer
Dear Brother / Sister,
Islam laid some conditions and principles for following the imam in a prayer. One of the conditions is that there must not be a wide street that people and cars can pass or a big river between the imam and the congregation following him.
Then, it is not valid to follow through television or radio an imam who is leading a prayer that is broadcast live. For, the condition mentioned above is not fulfilled.
