How can the verse He created spouses for you be explained for bachelors?
-The following is stated in verse 21 of the 30th chapter: “Allah created for you mates from among yourselves.” We know that some Muslims die before they get married. Some others remain single for the rest of their lives
- Can you make an explanation according to this verse?

Dear Brother / Sister,
The meaning of the verse in question is as follows:
“And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquility with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that are Signs for those who reflect.” (ar-Rum, 30/21)
First of all, we should state that not every human being, but the “human species” in general is meant in the verse.
Besides, the decrees are considered in general. In general issues, not all individuals, but the majority of individuals is taken into consideration.
Therefore, that the majority of people marries makes it a very appropriate style for the usage of the concept “mates” in this regard.
Is it possible to think that Allah does not know that some people will not get married? Is it possible for the Prophet (pbuh) not to be aware of it?
As far as we can see, none of the millions of Islamic scholars who read the verse in question, interpreted and explained it in the last 15 centuries had any misgiving like the one in the question. How can we explain the attitudes of all those scholars?
