I intended to fast after suhur meal and slept. When I woke up, I noticed that I had had a wet dream. What is the state of my fasting?
The Answer
Dear Brother / Sister,
Fasting is not invalidated when a person has a wet dream. He continues fasting.
However, it is not permissible to remain in the janabah state long enough to miss a daily prayer; therefore, he needs to make ghusl at once.
