Dear Brother / Sister,
Ayatul-Kursiyy is a verse of mercy that explains oneness.
Abu Hurayra (radiyallahu anh) narrates: " The Prophet (pbuh) said,
"Everything has a pinnacle and the pinnacle of the Quran is the chapter of al-Baqara. In that chapter, there is a verse that is the master of the verses of the Quran; Ayatul-Kursiyy. " [Tirmidhi, Thawabul-Quran 2, (2881)]
Ubayy Ibn Ka'b narrates: "The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said to me,
"Oh Abul-Mundhir! Do you know what verse among the verses of the Quran that you know by heart is the greatest?" I said, " Allah! There is no god but He, -the Living, the Self-subsisting, Eternal. (al-Baqara, 2/255) It is called Ayatul-Kursiyy." He patted my chest and said, "Oh Abul-Mundhir! May knowledge be blessed for you!" [Muslim, Musafirin 258, (810); Abu Dawud, Witr, 17, (Salah 325, (1460)]
