Are rewards (thawabs) gained during the state of janabah valid? Submitted by on Thu, 31/03/2016 - 00:11
The Answer
Dear Brother / Sister,
There are some things that are haram to do when one is junub. The other good deeds are valid and enable people who do them to gain rewards. For instance, if a person gives sadaqah to a poor person when he is junub, he gains rewards; if a person says a prayer, his prayer is answered. However, if a person reads the Quran or performs a prayer when he is junub, he is regarded to have committed a sin.
