Why work if rizq is written?
Why work if rizq is written?
Dear Brother / Sister,
First of all, we should state that predestination (qadar) is a matter of divine knowledge; it is Allah’s foreknowledge of the future. It is Allah’s knowledge of what His servants will do through their free will. Therefore, it does not mean that events happen because Allah knows them, but rather that Allah knows how events will happen.
Thus, every person acts according to his/her free will, places his/her trust in Allah, and accepts the outcome.
If there are provisions that Allah specifically bestows outside of a person’s free will, they are also a means of testing.
