Is it permissible to carry imitation goods? Is the money earned through carrying them halal?
- My question is about carrying the imitation goods that are sold as a result of a deal between the seller and the buyer.
- We suppose that the customer knows that they are imitation goods. What is the decree of carrying or transporting such imitation goods form somewhere to somewhere else if there is no deception without taking part in the buying and selling transaction?
- Is it permissible?
Dear Brother / Sister,
If there are economic contracts between two countries and if it has been signed that it is forbidden to imitate goods, it is not permissible to imitate goods; otherwise, the violation of others’ rights is in question.
If this state is known, it is not permissible to buy, sell and carry those imitation goods.
