The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) states the following in a hadith: "When Doomsday approaches, time will pass faster. A year becomes like a month. The time period between two Fridays shortens like the date branch burns in fire with its leaves.” (Hadith - Ramuz al-Ahadith)
