Hz. Hafsa was born in 605. When she married the Prophet (pbuh), she was 22 years old. There some scholars who hold the view that she was older. (see Prof. Dr. Ziya Kazıcı, Hazret-i Muhammed'in Aile Hayatı ve Eşleri, Istanbul - 2003, p. 191)
