Did the Prophet Muhammad and Ali (ra) have Christian titles?

The Details of the Question

- A Christian annoys me by saying that both Muhammad and Ali are Christian titles and that Dhulfiqar is a 2-edged sword mentioned in the Bible; he showed it to me in some places (could be an anti-Islamic website).
- It is said that Dhulfiqar is a double-edged sword and that it is mentioned in the Bible. Can you explain it?
“For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (Hebrews 4:12)
“In his right hand he held seven stars, and coming out of his mouth was a sharp, double-edged sword. His face was like the sun shining in all its brilliance.” (Revelation 1:16)

The Answer

Dear Brother / Sister,

a) We looked at both Turkish and Arabic Bibles. (Hebrews, 4/12)

The word of God is mentioned there. It is said that His words are much more effective than double-edged swords. The words soul, spirit, joint, etc. show that there is a simile in that statement.

In our opinion, the word in question is the Quran. It is a divine word that penetrates both material and spiritual organs and faculties of people.

b) In John’s revelation, he says that he heard a voice, that then he saw a human form that was the owner of that voice; while describing it, he says “he held seven stars in his right hand”. The phrase “John’s revelation” is translated as “John’s dream” in Arabic (1/16).

Neither Ali nor Dhulfiqar is mentioned in those verses.

John continues and states that when he turns toward the voice behind him, he sees 7 lampstands under it and a person resembling a human being in the middle of them… he has 7 stars in his right hand and a double-edged sword comes out of his mouth and he sees it.

However, neither Ali nor his sword is mentioned in those statements.

It is probably a symbolic expression representing the 7 stars of synagogues and churches. Besides, the relationship between those 7 stars and the churches is pointed out a little further ahead of the place in question.

c) Even if Dhulfiqar is mentioned there, what is wrong with that? It is understood from the last verse of the chapter of al-Fath that the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and his great Companions are mentioned in the Torah and the Gospel.

Mentioning Dhulfiqar like them is not against Islam, but in favor of it.
