The Signs Indicating Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) in the Psalms
The Psalms Informs People about Hz. Muhammad (pbuh)
The Signs Indicating Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) in the Psalms
The Psalms, which is the second one of the divine books, is mentioned in three different verses of the glorious Qur’an. These verses are as follows:
“We have sent thee inspiration as We sent it to Noah and the Messengers after him; We sent inspiration to Abraham, Ismail, Isaac, Jacob, and the Tribes to Jesus, Job, Jonah, Aaron, and Solomon, and to David, We gave the Psalms.” (An-Nisa, 4/163)
“And it is your Lord that knoweth best all beings that are in the heavens and on earth: We did bestow on some Prophets more (and other) gifts than on others: and We gave to David (the gift of) the Psalms.” (Al-Isra, 17/55)
“Before this We wrote in the Psalms, after the Message (given to Moses): My servants, the Righteous shall inherit the earth.” (Al-Anbiya, 21/105)
The first two of these verses state that the Psalms, which is one of the four of divine books, was given to David (AS) and the third verse informs that Psalms was sent after the Torah… Now, we are going to look at the parts of the Psalms, where there are signs for the prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
1. The Psalms, 45:2-7 :“You are the most excellent of the sons of men. Grace has anointed your lips, therefore God has blessed you forever. Strap your sword on your thigh, mighty one: your splendor and your majesty. In your majesty ride on victoriously on behalf of truth, humility, and righteousness.Let your right hand display awesome deeds. Your arrows are sharp. The nations fall under you, with arrows in the heart of the king’s enemies. Your throne, God, is forever and ever. A scepter of equity is the scepter of your kingdom. You have loved righteousness, and hated wickedness. Therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows…”
Now, let us see how these expressions of Psalms explicitly refer to the prophet Muhammad (PBUH):
1- The Psalms, 45:2 : “You are the most excellent of the sons of men…”
The apparent beauties of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), which exist on his blessed body and which indicate his esoteric beauties do not exist in anyone. Furthermore, Imam Qurtubi relates that the beauty of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did not appear completely. If his apparent beauty had completely been visible, the Companions could not have had the strength to look at him. Jabir bin Samura (RA) narrates; “I saw the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who was the sun of the universe, in a moonlit night. He was wearing a red mantle. I began to look at his shining face and the moon to decide which one was more beautiful. I swear by Allah that the holiness face of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who was near me, was more beautiful than the moon.” Hz. Aisha (RA) describes the beauty of the prophet (PBUH) with the following words: The women who saw the beauty of Hz. Joseph cut their fingers by losing consciousness; if they had seen the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), they would have cut their arms.”
2- The Psalms, 45:3 : “Strap your sword on your thigh”
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says the following in one of his Hadiths: “I have been sent with sword in a period close to the Doomsday…” This verse of Psalms also shows that the Prophet who will come is called “Sahib as-Saif”; that is, he will be the owner of sword and responsible for jihad. And his ummah is also called Sahib as-Saif; that is, they will be responsible for jihad. This news of Psalms can be seen in the Prophet’s life (PBUH) and in his community in the strict sense.
3- The Psalms, 45:4 : “On behalf of truth, humility, and righteousness. Let your right hand display awesome deeds.”
This sentence of Psalms also mentions about the justice of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). In fact, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the most judicious one of humanity. The following is narrated: A woman from Mahzumi tribe committed a theft. Quraishis did not want this woman, who came from an honorable tribe to be punished. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) loved Usama bin Zayd very much. They knew that the prophet would not hurt his feelings. For this reason, they requested the Prophet not to punish this woman by putting Usama as an intermediary. The prophet (PBUH) said to Usama as follows: “The sons of Israel were destroyed just because they took sides. They used to punish the poor very severely but they did not punish the rich and influential ones. I swear by Allah that if my own daughter Fatima committed this crime, I would punish her in the same way.”
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) did not make any religious discrimination when he made legal decisions. If a Jew was the rightful side, He gave the Jew his due by taking it from the Muslim. Sirah (the life of the Prophet) books are full of stories about the Prophet’s unique justice.
4- The Psalms, 45:5 : “Your arrows are sharp. The nations fall under you, with arrows in the heart of the king’s enemies.”
The truth of this news of Psalms is also seen in Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) life. For, Persia, Byzantium, India, China and lots of countries were conquered and the majority of their folks were converted and became the ummah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). And this expression of Psalms is stated in the verses of the Qur’an as follows: “What Allah has bestowed on His Messenger (and taken away) from the people of the townships belongs to Allah to His Messenger and to kindred and orphans, the needy and the wayfarer; in order that it may not (merely) make a circuit between the wealth among you. So take what the Messenger assigns to you, and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you. And fear Allah; for Allah is strict in Punishment.” (Al-Hashr, 59/7)
5- The Psalms, 45:7 : “You have loved righteousness, and hated wickedness.”
This sentence informs us about the two attributes of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH); these attributes are expressed in the Qur’an as follows: “Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah. If only the People of the Book had faith it were best for them; among them are some who have faith, but most of them are perverted transgressors.” (Aal-e-Imran, 3/110)
2-)
Proof of Miracles
There are hundreds of miracles of Hazrat Muhammd (pbuh) that have reached us through sound resources. As it is stated by the verses, “And the moon split”, "When you threw, it was not your act, but Allah's.", that he divides the moon into two with a gesture of his finger, that small rocks glorify and praise Allah (SWT) in the Prophet's hand (pbuh), that he casts of a handful of dust into the eyes of his enemies, causing them to flee, that he gives his thirsty army drinking water that flowed forth from his five fingers like the Spring of Kawthar and hundreds of his other miracles become evident through tawatur.
Tawatur means true news reported by a large number of people through reliable chains of narrators; the miracles of Hz. Muhammad are news like tawatur. More than 1000 of these miracles were reported by hadith books through chains of narrators. We refer those miracles to those books and say that a person who has so clear miracles along with high ethics and perfection is definitely an honest and trustworthy person. It is not possible for him to resort to telling lies and cheating, which are done by immoral and dishonest people. The proof of miracle is one of the strong evidences we will show to the people of the book. For instance, let us ask a Christian the following question:
- How do you know Jesus was sent by Allah? That is, how do you now that - God forbid - he is not a liar and fraud?
He will answer as follows:
We know he was sent by Allah because he showed some miracles. Some people arose from dead and some ill people recovered thanks to his prayer; he blew on the statue of a bird he made out of clay and the bird was revived; it started to fly; he showed many more miracles like those.
After this explanation, we will say,
- It means you believe in tawatur, that is the news that cannot be a lie and that is reported by a large group of people. For, you did not see or witness the miracles that you have just mentioned. You believe in them because they reached you through tawatur. Then, you have to believe in the prophethood of Hz. Muhammad (pbuh). For, the miracles of Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) reached us through tawatur. If you say I believe in tawatur, you have to believe in the news about him. If you say I do not believe in tawatur, you cannot believe in Jesus because you did not see his miracles with your eyes; you were not with him when they took place.
Then, there are two alternatives for you: You will deny tawatur and say, "I do not believe in things that I have not seen; they are false"; thus, you will deny Jesus. Or, you will accept the prophethood of Hz. Muhammad (pbuh).
The third way, which is accepting tawatur regarding Jesus and not accepting it regarding Hz. Muhammad (pbuh), means cheating yourself. A person who cheats himself deliberately cannot be called a sane person; we do not talk to insane people.

Who is Paraclete mentioned in the Bible?
Hz. Muhammad (PBUH) in the Bible
Who is Paraclete mentioned in the Bible?
Who is Paraclete whose name is mentioned in the Bible?
It is significant that we have named the Bible as “distorted” in the heading. Distorted means falsified and changed. All proofs that we are going to present here are proofs about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that were carefully removed from the Bible and hence distorted. Despite the precise and careful works of the distorting process to remove each verse that informed about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from the Bible, there remained so many proofs. If there are so many signs for Him (PBUH) in the distorted Bible, then how many signs were there in the authentic Bible that was revealed to the Jesus (AS)? Just think of it!
The distortions that Christians and Jews made in their books especially removing the verses of news that informed about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are mentioned in the Qur’an as follows:
“Then woe to those who write the Book with their own hands, and then say: "This is from Allah" to traffic with it for a miserable price! Woe to them for what their hands do write and for the gain they make thereby.”(al-Baqara, 79)
“O People of the Book! there hath come to you Our Messenger, revealing to you much that ye used to hide in the Book, and passing over much (that is now unnecessary): there hath come to you from Allah a (new) Light and a perspicuous Book.―”(al-Maeda, 15)
The Qur’an informs us that Christians covered up a lot of information that was revealed to Jesus (AS). Some portion of this information is the expression in the Bible about the advent of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). In this section, we are going to analyze the expressions about the advent of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) that exist in the Bible.
HIDDEN TRUTHS
Who is Paraclete whose name is mentioned in the Bible?
HZ. MUHAMMAD (PBUH) IN THE BIBLE
1-(John 14: 16,17): Jesus said; “If you love me, you will obey my commandments. Then I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Paraclete to be with you forever —“
2-(John 14: 26): Jesus said; “But the Paraclete, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything, and will cause you to remember everything I said to you.”
3-(John 14: 29): Jesus said; “I have told you now before the Paraclete comes, so that when he comes you may believe.”
4- (John 15: 26): Jesus said; “When the Paraclete comes, whom I will send you from the Father – will testify about me…”
5-(John 16: 7): Jesus said; “But I tell you the truth, it is to your advantage that I am going away. For if I do not go away, the Paraclete will not come to you, but if I go, I will send him to you.”
6- (John 16: 13): Jesus said; “… But when the Paraclete comes, he will guide you into all truth. For he will not speak on his own authority, but will speak whatever he hears, and will tell you what is to come.”
7-(John 16: 14): Jesus said; “… The Paraclate will glorify me, because he will receive from me what is mine and will tell it to you.”
The original form of the Biblical expression given above as Paraclete and given as good news by the Prophet Jesus (PBUH) is “Munhamenna” in Syriac and “Periklytos” in Greek. The equivalent word of it in Arabic is “Ahmad”.
The Greek expression of Periklytos of the Bible, that is, “Ahmad” exists as “Briklitus” in some sources. As “Ahmad” (PBUH) is a name of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), it is expressed by the Qur’an that His name is “Ahmad” in the Bible. (See. Saff, 61/6)
And also all characteristics mentioned above are owned only by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Then, it is the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) who is mentioned as the awaited person in the Bible and given the good news about.
Besides, the word “Paraclete” is explained in Biblical interpretations as "the rightful person who will distinguish between the truth and falsehood"; that it, is the name of the person who will lead humans to the truth after Jesus (AS). Can anyone other than Hz. Muhammad (PBUH) who performed this duty more than him be shown in this world?
4-)
The Fruit shows that the Tree is Alive
It can be debatable whether a seed is the seed of an apple tree or an oleander tree as long as it remains as a seed. If that seed is put in the soil and grows up forming branches, fruits and flowers, nobody can argue about the type of that seed.
Besides, it is necessary to close one's eyes and not to see the apple tree and its fruits and to ignore their testimony in order to claim that a seed is an oleander seed. For, each fruit of the tree says with a language peculiar to them, "The seed of our tree is an apple seed." Thus, they clearly confute the person who claims that it is a seed of an oleander tree.
Similarly, Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) is also a seed. The tree of Islam emerged from this seed. This tree has 14 big branches, each of which represents a century. There are millions of fruits and flowers on each branch. Every companion, saint and scholar is a fruit of this tree.
Yes, the principles of Hz. Muhammad (pbuh), thousands of saints who are subject to him and educated by him and who attain the truth, reality, perfection, extraordinary deeds, discovery and observation of secret things witness unanimously that he is an honest person and a prophet. With the luminous light of sainthood, they observe some of the news informed by him and they confirm some of his news with the light of belief; they also approve that this person, who is their teacher, is honest.
If a person denies the prophethood of Hz. Muhammad (pbuh), he needs to deny first the religion of Islam emerging from this seed and its fruits, which are the Companions, saints, scholars and righteous people. They obtain their perfection from their seed, which is Hz. Muhammad (pbuh).
When anyone wants to attack their seed, Hz. Muhammad (pbuh), each one of them will say, through their tongues peculiar to themselves, “O he who is unaware of himself! How dare you attack our seed? Look at us! If our seed were rotten, could we be alive? If you want to deny our seed, which is the real cause of the life given to us, you need to stop us first and harm our perfection. Neither you nor anybody else can do it.
You cannot even deny one saint like Abdulqadir Ghaylani; how can you deny millions of fruit? If you close your eyes, only you will be in darkness. Open your eyes, see what a magnificent and straight tree comes out of the seed that you are trying to deny, and come to your senses!
As we said in the beginning, it is impossible to fit the evidences that will prove the prophethood of Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) in one CD like fitting an ocean in one glass. We refer the evidences of the prophethood of Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) to our work Belief in Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) and say the following in conclusion: "Ashadu an la ilaha illallah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan abduhu wa rasuluh. (I witness that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is His slave and messenger.)"

I will make your name to be remembered in all generations
The Psalms Informs People about Hz. Muhammad (pbuh)
I will make your name to be remembered in all generations
2- The Psalms: 45, 16 - 17 : “Your sons will take the place of your fathers. You shall make them princes in all the earth. I will make your name to be remembered in all generations. Therefore the peoples shall give you thanks forever and ever.”
These sentences of Psalms are also about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) because, although 1400 years have passed since the death of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH), believers have been reciting salawats by saying “Salli 'ala Muhammadin wa 'ala ali Muhammad…” especially after five daily prayers through the ages. So is there anyone whose name is mentioned as much as the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) on earth? Of course not. So, is it possible that the person who is mentioned in Psalms is not the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)?

The Signs for the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the Old Testament
The Torah Informs People about Hz. Muhammad (pbuh)
2- Part 42 of Isaiah of the Old Testament virtually informs about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his coming… Let us first read the related part of the Old Testament and then analyze these expressions, which are present in the Torah:
“Here is my servant whom I support, my chosen one in whom I take pleasure. I have placed my spirit, that is, Gabriel, on him; he will make just decrees for the nations. He will not cry out or shout; he will not publicize himself in the streets. A crushed reed he will not break, a dim wick he will not extinguish; he will faithfully make just decrees. He will not grow dim or be crushed before establishing justice on the earth; the coastlands will wait in anticipation for his decrees.” This is what the true God, the Lord, says – the one who created the sky and stretched it out, the one who fashioned the earth and everything that lives on it, the one who gives breath to the people on it, and life to those who live on it: “I, the Lord, officially commission you; I take hold of your hand. I protect you and make you a covenant mediator for people, and a light to the nations, to open blind eyes, to release prisoners from dungeons, those who live in darkness from prisons. The Lord Intervenes I am the Lord! That is my name! I will not share my glory with anyone else, or the praise due me with idols. Look, my earlier predictive oracles have come to pass; now I announce new events. Before they begin to occur, I reveal them to you.” Sing to the Lord a brand new song! Praise him from the horizon of the earth, you who go down to the sea, and everything that lives in it, you coastlands and those who live there! Let the desert and its cities shout out, the towns where the nomads of Kedar live! Let the residents of Sela shout joyfully; let them shout loudly from the mountaintops.”
There is a great conformity between the expressions that are present in Isaiah of the Old Testament part 42, and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The expression of these future events is also very important. So, this good news was not revealed at the time of Moses (AS) or much before. This will come true in the future… The good news stated here is the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and let us see this by analyzing the expressions one by one:
1- The Old Testament 42:1 : “Here is my servant whom I support, my chosen onein whom I take pleasure. I have placed my spirit (Jibril (Gabriel)) on him; he will make just decrees for the nations.”
This sentence of the Old Testament totally indicates the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). For Allah (God) supported him, had consent for him and selected him among humans. Besides, Allah sent him Gabriel (AS) (the Archangel) and exposed justice among nations with him. So, five qualities of the person about whom the good news is given in the expression exist in him. This sentence of the Torah totally gives the good news of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with all of its words.
2- The Old Testament 42:2-3 : “He will not cry out or shout; he will not publicize himself in the streets. A crushed reed he will not break, a dim wick he will not extinguish; he will faithfully make just decrees…”
These expressions, which are present in the Torah, inform about the high ethics of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). While the Qur’an expresses this characteristic of the prophet Muhammad with “And thou (standest) on an exalted standard of character”, the Torah informs this as given above. So, the person about whom the good news is given will have high ethics. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) has such high ethics with the approval of everyone.
3- The Old Testament 42:4 : “He will not grow dim or be crushed before establishing justice on the earth; the coastlands will wait in anticipation for his decrees…”
This expression of the Torah also informs people about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). For, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) ruled the earth while he was still alive and secured the justice. And he never lost his courage. Even when the verse “Allah will defend thee from men (who mean mischief)” was revealed to him, he sent the guards who were waiting in front of his tent away and told them; “Now Allah will defend me, you don’t need to wait here.” The people and nations who were almost tortured with oppression waited for this person. So, this expression informs us about the courage of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), his securing of the justice and the waiting of the people of the coastland; for this reason, it indicated and even defined the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
4- The Old Testament 42:6 : “I, the Lord, officially commission you; I take hold of your hand. I protect you and make you a covenant mediator for people, and a light to the nations…”
The person about whom the good news was given by the Torah was said to be protected by Allah and for this reason, in most difficult situations and even at times when surviving was almost impossible, he was protected and he reached safety as recorded in history. Even during migration, when the possibility of being captured by the polytheists was close at hand at the cave where they sheltered and while his loyal friend, Abu Bakr (RA), was weeping for him, he informed his loyal friend about the existence of this divine protection with solidity by saying “Do not fear, Allah is with us.” In every phase of the Prophet’s (PBUH) life, this divine protection is seen. Those who know the life of the Prophet will understand this better.
Besides, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) made people get on well with one another. Blood feuds came to an end; and enemies became loyal friends thanks to him … and again nations found the true path thanks to him, and virtually became a source of light. So, the person about whom the good news was given has three qualities in the Torah: 1- Allah (God) protects him, 2- He will get on well with people, 3- He will become a guide for nations; they are the Pophet's qualities which are known by everyone.
5- The Old Testament 42:7 : “to open blind eyes, to release prisoners from dungeons, those who live in darkness from prisons…”
This expression of the Torah gives information about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) too. For, blunt hearts and ill minds were healed thanks to him. With the help of him, souls were freed from the captivity of the evil and those who lived in the darkness of polytheism reached the light of tawhid (the oneness of Allah).
6- The Old Testament 42:8 : “I am the Lord! That is my name! I will not share my glory with anyone else, or the praise due me with idols…”
This expression of the Torah is very significant. For, with this verse, Allah states that the person about whom He gave the good news would destroy polytheism. The biggest struggle of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was against the polytheists and when He conquered the city of Mecca, the first thing he did was to destroy idols.
Besides, in this verse, Allah says, “He will not allow praising for idols” The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) performed this task and with the expression “Alhamdulillah”, he informed that all praises are made for Allah. So the person about whom the good news is given is the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) because the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) successfully accomplished the duty of the person about whom the good news was given.
7- The Old Testament 42:11 : “Let the desert and its cities shout out, the towns where the nomads of Kedarlive! Let the residents of Sela shout joyfully; let them shout loudly from the mountaintops.”
This expression of the Torah informs us about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) too. Since, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was a member of the community that was coming from the descendants of Kedar, who was the son of Ishmael (PBUH), the son of Abraham. So this expression indicates the ancestors of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
In short, these parts of the Old Testament have a complete conformity with the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Besides, in the continuation of this part of the Old Testament, verse 17, the humiliation of polytheists is significant because this humiliation was performed by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Yes, with a more detailed analysis, one may find many more signs in the Old Testament. So, as many sciences from embryology to astronomy, from geology to archeology approve what the Qur’an says, the signs of the Old Testament also approve his (PBUH) prophethood.

An Ummah Given Mercy in the Last Days
The Torah Informs People about Hz. Muhammad (pbuh)
An Ummah Given Mercy in the Last Days
9- Old Testament, Micah 4 verses 1, 2, 5 :“In the last days the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established as chief among the mountains; Many nations will come and walk in the name of the Lord our God…
That sentence of the Torah describes clearly the holiest mountain in the world, and the takbirs and worshipping of hajjis coming from all over the world; that is, “ummah of Muhammad” known as “ummah given mercy”
8-)
Hidden Truths
* The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is the Apostle of Allah (God).
* He is the prophet of the end of time.
* He is the leader of humans and the Jinn.
* He is the last prophet.
It is very strange that while we show divine books for the truthfulness of these sentences as proof, Jews and Christians, who are from the people of book, deny the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) without being aware of their books.
We are going to prove this with the certainty of two times two equals four by using the Bible, Torah and Psalms as proof that those divine books inform people about Hz. Muhammad (PBUH) and give the good news of his coming.
Our aim for preparing this work is to prevent the missionary activities that take place in our country and Islamic countries, to give proof to Muslims against Christians and Jews and to strengthen the belief of Muslims by proving that the good news of the Prophet Muhammad (PUBH) is announced in other divine books and to invite Jews and Christians to see the truth and to call them to the religion of Islam.
Now we are going to explain some of the Quranic verses stating that people of the book know the prophethood of Hz. Muhammad (PBUH) as they know their own sons.
“The people of the Book know this as they know their own sons; but some of them conceal the truth which they themselves know.” (al-Baqara: 146)
This verse informs us that the characteristics of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) are mentioned in the Bible, Torah and Psalms and the scholars of the People of the Book know the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as they know their own sons.
Hz. Umar (RA) asked Abdullah Ibn Salam, who was a Jewish scholar before converting to Islam and gaining the honor of Islam, the meaning of this verse and Ibn Salam answered as follows:“I know the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) better than my son. For, Allah informed us about him along with his attributes in our book, the Torah. Allah never tells a lie. However, the mother of my son might have betrayed. I do not know what women do but I am not skeptical about the news of the Torah.”
"If anyone disputes in this matter with thee now after (full) knowledge hath come to thee, say: "Come! let us gather together―our sons, and your sons our women and your women, ourselves and yourselves: then let us earnestly pray, and invoke the curse of Allah on those who lie!"(Aal-i-Imran 61)
The reason for the revelation of this verse is as follows; the Prophet (PBUH) read proofs to a group from Najran Christians; however, they insisted on their superstitious beliefs, and the apostle of Allah said to them: “For sure, Allah wants me and you to curse each other if you do not accept these proofs.” Upon the prophet’s (PBUH) challenge, Christians accepted to pay tax to avoid cursing. So, this event is a proof for the truthfulness of the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in two ways.
1. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) scared them with the torture caused by cursing. If the Christians of Najran had accepted this and chosen the way of mutual cursing and as a result of this if there had been no torture by Allah, this would have been the prophet’s revealing of his own lie; however, it is a well known fact that a person like the Prophet Muhammad, who was the most intelligent man in the world, would not have resorted to something that would reveal His lie (God forbid). So, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had trust in the One who would torture; that is why, he challenged them. So, this can be explained by the fact that He is the Apostle of Allah.
2. After this event, the Christians of Najran accepted to pay tax by avoiding mutual cursing. The reason why these people, who knew the Bible and Torah, avoided mutual cursing is that they certainly knew that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was the prophet of the end of time. In order not to be cursed by a prophet, they accepted to pay tax and avoided mutual cursing. So, the people of the book learnt the prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) from their books.
Tens of verses of the Qur’an, two of which we interpreted here, state that the people of the book knew the prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). However, our aim in this work is to prove that the people of the book knew the prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) not through the verses of the Qur’an but through the verses of the Bible, Torah and Psalms; so, we will not explain the verses of the Qur’an, which are a proof of our work. However, we will only give the meanings of some of the verses of the Qur’an; and after that we will look at the verses of the Bible that inform people about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
“Ye People of the Book! Why do ye clothe truth with falsehood, and conceal the Truth while ye have knowledge?”(Aal-i-Imran: 71)
“They know full well, to whom We have given the Book, that it hath been sent down from thy Lord in truth. Never be then of those who doubt.” (al-Anaam: 114)
“And when there comes to them a Book from Allah, confirming what is with them. ―although from of old they had prayed for victory against those without faith ―when there comes to them that which they (should) have recognized, they refuse to believe in it; but the curse of Allah is on those without Faith.”(al-Baqara: 89)
“And when came to them an Massenger from Allah, confirming what was with them, a party of the people of the Book threw away the Book of Allah behind their backs, as if (it had been something) they did not know!”(al-Baqara: 101)
“Ye People of the Book! Why reject ye the Signs of Allah, of which ye are (yourselves) witnesses?”(Aal-i-Imran: 70)
“And remember Jesus, the son of Mary, said: "O Children of Israel! I am the Messenger of Allah (sent) to you confirming the Law (which came) before me, and giving glad Tidings of an Messenger to come after me, whose name shall be Ahmad." But when he came to them with Clear Signs they said "This is evident sorcery!"”(as-Saff: 6)
9-)
The Miracle of the Qur'an
All the proofs of Prophet Muhammad along with his prophethood (PBUH) are a proof that the Glorious Qur’an is ture and that it is the word of Allah. Since he is a prophet, he does not tell lies and cannot slander Allah. Since he does not tell lies and cannot slander, his statement “it is the word of Allah” is definitely the word of Allah.
Similarly, all miracles of the Qur’an along with its proofs prove the prophethood of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). For, only the apostle of Allah can declare the book of Allah.
If we say, “The Qur’an is the word of Allah because the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) showed many miracles”, that is, if we show the miracles of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a proof, it will definitely be true.
As he showed miracles, he is the apostle of Allah. As he is a prophet, his book must definitely be nothing other than the word of Allah.
If we make a final comment on this subject, “The Prophet Muhammad (PUBH) is the apostle of Allah since there is no equivalent of the Qur’an…”
The news of the Qur’an from the past and future has been proved and the science of history and archeology have confirmed the trustiness of its news…
The Qur’an also informed people about many scientific truths 1400 years ago. The trustiness of this news has been confirmed by scientists.
Even the most stubborn enemies of the Qur’an are impressed by its expression; its enemies confirmed its beauty.
The Qur’an has made many reforms both in personal, social and political areas; and these reforms have impressed sociologists.
The fairness of judgments of the Qur’an has been confirmed by lawyers, too.
If we use the proofs which prove the Qur’an to be a word of Allah for the proofs of the prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), this discourse will be true like the previous one. Since the Qur’an is the word of Allah as we have stated up to now, the person who revealed it must definitely be the apostle of Allah because the word of Allah can only be sent to the apostle of Allah but not to anyone else.
Then, we say based on the hundreds of proofs which prove that the Qur’an is a divine book, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) is the prophet of Allah.
For, the Qur’an revealed to the Prophet (PBUH) is the word of Allah by hundreds of proofs. In order to reject the prophethood of Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH), it is necessary to reject the command of Allah (the Qur’an) and accept it as a word of a human being. However, it is not possible. Even Satan cannot claim such a thing. It cannot deceive a mind which is not spoiled. It only tries to deceive people by making them see things from a distance and making stars look small like lightning bugs.
Whoever doubts about the Qur'an to be the word of Allah should refer to Risale-i Nur and the work "Belief in the Qur'an", which we prepared from the truths in it.
10-)
He is unique regarding belief and other issues
1- He is unique in administration
Is it possible for a person who cannot read and write to make laws on his own and for those laws to govern people for 14 centuries and at least one fourth of the people in each century with justice? Definitely not!
Let us have a look at Hz. Muhammad (pbuh). The laws introduced by an illiterate person have governed people for 14 centuries and at least one fourth of the people in each century with justice. There is nothing similar to it in the world. The laws made by tens of jurists who were trained in law for years hardly remain in effect for 3 or 5 years. What is more, they cannot govern with justice.
We can explain this situation only with the fact that the laws introduced by Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) were revealed to him by Allah and that he is the Messenger of Allah
2- He is unique in guiding people
Do you think it is possible for an illiterate person to introduce a religion on his own and for this religion to be a guide for millions of people, a teacher for minds, a cleaner for hearts, a trainer for souls and a source for the development of spirits for 14 centuries and tofind millions of followers in each century?
Is there anything similar to it? Definitely not!
Let us have a look at Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) again: Islam, which emerged as a result of the deeds, words and acts of this illiterate person, has been the guide and reference for millions of people, the teacher and guide for minds, the illuminator and cleaner for hearts, the trainer for souls and source for the development and improvement of spirits; regarding these issues, there has not been and cannot be anything or anyone similar to him. If we do not accept his prophethood, how can we explain Islam and the revolution Islam made in hearts, spirits, minds and souls?
3- He is unique in worshipping
Do you think it is possible for an illiterate person to discover all kinds of worshipping and to be the best one in all kinds of worshipping? That is, if we ask a person who is unaware of worshipping like daily prayers, fasting, zakah (alms-giving), hajj (pilgrimage) to teach us how to perform them, can he do it? Definitely not! Let alone showing and teaching them, he cannot find names for them; he cannot discover all of those worshipping from A to Z on his own.
Let us have a look at Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) again: He is the best one regarding all kinds of worship in his religion; he has taqwa more than any other people; he fears Allah the most among people; he pays great attention even to the smallest details of worshipping and works hard to fulfill them; he performs worshipping perfectly from beginning to the end without imitating anybody; regarding these issues, there has not been and cannot be anything or anyone similar to him. If we do not accept the fact that all of this worshipping was taught him by Allah, how can we explain the worshipping people have performed with enthusiasm for 14 centuries by imitating him?
4- He is unique in supplication
Do you think it is possible for an illiterate person to discover all of the names and attributes of the owner of this realm and to use those names and attributes as an intercessor in his supplication? It is possible that nobody has been able to catch up with the supplication of an illietarte person for 14 centuries and that he was the leader in each century in supplication and describing his Lord? Definitely not?
Let us have a look at Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) again: He has so much knowledge about Allah and describes his Lord to such an extent in his thousands of supplications and even in one supplication called jawshan al-kabir (the great shield) that the people of knowledge and saints that have lived up to now have not been able to reach that level. That nobody can catch up with him in describing Allah shows that he is unique in supplication.
5- He is unique in courage
Is it possible for a person who is not supported by any power and who starts off alone to courageously convey the message of his religion to his powerful enemies without any hesitation and panic and to make his religion superior to other religions? Definitely not!
Let us have a look at Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) again: He showed so much endurance, perseverance and courage while conveying his religion and calling people to the truth that he did not show any signs of hesitation, panic and cowardice and he challenged the whole world on his own and coped with them by spreading Islam to all over the world though the big states and religions of that age, his own tribe and relatives and even his uncle were hostile to him; there has not been and cannot be anyone similar to him regarding conveying the religion and calling people to the truth. Can we explain the great power and courage of that person despite his loneliness and weakness by anything other than his trust in Allah and his reliance on Him?
6- He is unique in belief and creed
Is it possible for an illiterate person to discover all of the truths of belief and to be the best regarding each truth? Is it possible that nobody has been able to catch up with him in terms of belief in 14 centuries? Is it possible for him to do them by himself? Definitely not!
Let us have a look at Hz. Muhammad (pbuh) again: He has such an extraordinary power in belief, such wonderful knowledge, such miraculous progress and such a lofty creed illuminating the world that none of the thoughts and beliefs and the sciences of the spiritual leaders harmed his belief, creed and spirituality although all of them were against him, which proves that his belief is unique.
Such unique shari'ah, unmatched Islam, wonderful worshipping, extraordinary supplication, an invitation challenging the world in a person who has a miraculous belief cannot be a lie by any means and will never deceive people.
Then, he is the Messenger of Allah and the prophet of the end of time.

The Prophet owning Sword and Stuff mentioned in the Bible
The Bible Informs People about Hz. Muhammad (pbuh)
The Prophet owning Sword and Stuff mentioned in the Bible
14- In the Bible, it is mentioned about the prophet that will come and that will become the master of the universe is referred to as “the one who has got Sayf and Stuff.” The Arabic word of Sayf here means sword. So, the prophet has a duty of Jihad. So, this person cannot be Jesus because he was not appointed to make Jihad and He did not fight in a war. “The owner of sword” can only be the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). For, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and His ummah were appointed to make Jihad. Besides, the Prophet Muhammad has a stuff and he used to carry a stuff with him.
15- And again, the prophet that will come in the future is mentioned as “Sahib-ut Taj” (the owner of crown). This is also peculiar to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Taj means turban that is wrapped around the head. In ancient times, the people who used to wear turban (head dress) among nations were Arabs. So ‘Sahib-ut Taj’ mentioned in the Bible certainly means Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
QUESTION: Why is it that while the other prophets only foretell the coming of Muhammad (PBUH), Jesus (PUH) does so more fully and in the form of good news?
THE ANSWER: For, Ahmad (PBUH) defended Jesus (PBUH) against the terrible denials and slanders of Jews, and saved his religion from corruption. Furthermore, in the face of the burdensome Shari‘a of the Children of Israel, who did not recognize Jesus, he came with an elevated Shari‘a which was easy, all-encompassing, and completed the deficiencies of Jesus’ Shari‘a. For these reasons, Jesus often gave the good news that "the Ruler of the World" will come!

The witnessing of Philosophers
With the Approval of the Philosophers of this Age, the Quran is the word of Allah.
The Foreign Philosophers and Scientists who Appreciate the Perfection of the Quran
All of the clean consciences and benign natures approve that the Quran is the word of Allah. For, the heart becomes peaceful and the conscience becomes satisfied only through the light of the Quran. The nature of man addresses the Quran with the tongue of disposition as follows: “The perfection of our nature cannot be without you.”
When a person who has a clear conscience sees the truth, he tells the truth; he cannot support falsehood. Besides, the purpose of such a person is to find the truth. Even if such people belong to other religions, they do not hesitate to tell the truth.
“When the enemy not the friend approves something, it means it is perfect.” In this chapter, we will quote some of the views of foreign philosophers and thousands of renowned scientists about the Quran and its laws. With their views, they become live witnesses for the truthfulness of the Quran.
Prince Bismarck’s Statement;
The Words of Prince Bismarck on the Quran
“O Muhammad! I truly regret not being your contemporary.
Scrutinizing heavenly books, which are said to be sent by Allah to manage people in various eras, I could have seen no wisdom and accuracy. Those laws are not eligible to ensure happiness of society, even not a family.
However, Muslims’ Quran is free from this description. I scrutinized the Quran in every aspect. I observed the great wisdom in each word of it. Even though enemies of Muslims claim that this book is Muhammad’s word, claiming that such a wonderful will arose from the most perfect brain means just ignoring the truth and winking at hatred and grudge which is incompatible with enlightenment and wisdom.
I claim that Muhammad is a distinguished power. It is far out of possibility to bring up such a hand of power again.
O Muhammad! I am sad that I am not in your time. The book you are the teacher of and publisher of is not yours. It is divine.
Denying its divinity is as ridiculous as claiming that science is fallacious.
That is why humanity will not see a distinguished powerful person like you once more. I bend the knee of a deep reverence in your presence.”
The Words of Dr. Maurice on the Quran
Dr. Maurice, a famous orientalist, an expert on Arabic literature and a translator of the Quran, stated the following:
Only the sound that arose from the Mount Hira of Arabia was able to save Byzantine Christians from the blind alley of wrong beliefs that they were in. This sound elevated the divine word to the highest rank. However, the Byzantines could not hear this sound. This sound taught people the cleanest and truest religion.
What is the Quran? It is a miracle of rhetoric and fluency. The virtue of the Quran that makes one billion Muslims feel proud is the fact that it is the best heavenly book in terms of expressing every meaning. No. We can move further!
The Quran is the best book that is granted to man by the eternal help of the nature. The statements of the Quran are superior to the statements of the Greek philosophy from the point of view of the welfare of man. The Quran is full of praising and thanking the Creator of the world and the sky.
The Words of Mr. John Davenport on the Quran
Mr John Davenport's Statement
John Davenport states the following while mentioning the Quran in his book called "An Apology for Mohammed and the Koran":
Among many excellencies of which the Quran may justly boast are two eminently conspicuous:
1. The tone of awe and reverence which it always observes when speaking of, or referring to, the Deity, to Whom it never attributes human frailties and passions;
2. The total absence throughout it of all impure, immoral and indecent ideas, expressions, narratives, etc., blemishes.
However, these deficiencies occur frequently in the distorted Bible that the Christians have today.
The Words of Thomas Carlyleon the Quran
Carlyle's Statement
Carlyle states the following:
"Once you read the Quran carefully, you will realize its emerging unique features. The Quran’s own beauty is totally distinguished from other literary works; it is unique. One of distinguishing features of the Quran is that it has not been falsified.
In my opinion and conclusion, the Quran is full of truth and sincerity from the beginning to the end. The Prophet Muhammad’s invitation to the world is the truth."
The Words of Edward Gibbon on the Quran
Edward Gibbon:
Edward Gibbon, one of the most famous and greatest historians of England, states the following in his book called “the Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire” :
From the Atlantic to the Ganges, the Quran is acknowledged as the fundamental code of civil and criminal jurisprudence.
There is no difference between a mighty king and a poor person in the eye of the Quran. There exists such jurisprudence based on those principles that it has no equivalence in the world.
The principles of Islam reject trinity, the creed that Allah has a body and the creed of the unity of existence. The Quran is free from confusions and ambiguities like that.
The Quran is the strongest evidence of the oneness of Allah. Islam is maybe a religion much more supreme than we think today."
The Words of Marmaduke Pickthall on the Quran
Marmaduke Pickthall:
"A perfect book of “ethics law” can be formed by principles that are taught in the Quran and notified by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
It is impossible to deny that the principles of the Quran do favor for people in various countries and attach people who wish to be close, to Allah.
Only the Quran could perfectly describe the truth of the Creator and created ones. Not only Muslims, but Christians and Jewish admit it, too."
The Words of Louvasonne on the Quran
Louvasonne's Statement
Louvasonne:
That is, there is no problem among the problems that are settled by the help of scientific discoveries or science and knowledge that contradicts the principles of Islam!
Unlike our efforts that we exert in order to harmonize our Christianity with natural laws, there is full harmony between the Quran and its instructions and natural laws. The Quran is a book that deserves all kinds of respect.
The Words of Corsele on the Quran
Corsele:
"The Quran is the most perfect and excellent work of the Arabic. According to the creed of Muslims, this miraculous work cannot be introduced by mankind.
The Quran itself is an enduring miracle and such a miracle that it is more supreme than resurrecting dead bodies. This holy book itself is enough to prove that it is originally heavenly.
Based on this miracle, Muhammad asked to be recognized as a prophet. Enlightening the Arabian bare and barren deserts, and defying poets and preachers, the Quran insisted for an equivalent of a verse of the Quran but there has been no one paying in kind."
The Words of Rodwell on the Quran
Rodwell:
Having translated and organized the verses of the Quran chronologically, Rodwell, one of the most conservative priests of England, confesses the following truths:
The Quran changed the ordinary Bedouins of Arabia so much that you would think they were fascinated.
Even if we deny, according to the Christian belief, that the Quran is a book revealed by God, it became a divine grace and bounty for Arabs because it eliminated idolatry, established the belief of oneness of Allah, abolished worshipping jinn, fairies and stones, abolished wild customs like burying children alive and eliminated all superstitions. The Quran is, therefore, worthy of all kinds of praise.
The Words of Jochahim on the Quran
Jochahim:
The Quranic verses that illuminate the character of the Prophet of Islam are perfect and very effective. Some verses express the ethical rules of Islam.
However, these rules are not limited to one or two chapters. Injustice, telling lies, greed, extravagance, prostitution, treason and backbiting are all forbidden by the Quran severely and they are described as disgrace.
On the other hand, having goodwill, doing favors to others, chastity, modesty, tolerance, patience, perseverance, economy, honesty, straightforwardness, loving peace, acting rightfully, trust in and reliance on God Almighty more than anyone else and obedience to Allah are regarded among the real principles of belief and as the main attributes of a Muslim. The Messenger of Allah is a symbol of perception and consciousness.
You have heard some of the views of Western philosophers on the Quran. If we quote the views of all philosophers, they will form volumes of books. We have shown you only a drop from the ocean.
Is it at all possible for so many philosophers and scientists to be wrong? Is it at all possible for them to regard a book which is full of superstitions - God forbid - as a book of truth? It is impossible. Then, there is only one option left: The Quran is the book of Allah.
13-)
The Himada of all nations mentioned in the Torah
The Torah Informs People about Hz. Muhammad (pbuh)
The Qur’an says that Jews distorted the book of their religion, the Torah, by changing the places of its words and their meanings. That is why, the signs about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) were aimed to be distorted and changed by Jews. The People of the Book, who distorted the actual meanings of the words, made it difficult to understand the signs of the explanations for the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The Quranic verses that indicate the issue are as follows:
“Of the Jews there are those who displace words from their (right) places and say: "We hear and we disobey…”(an-Nisa: 46)
“They change the words from their (right) times and places; they say "If ye are given this, take it, but if not, beware…” (al-Maeda: 41)
Now we are going to look at the expressions of the Torah indicating the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH):
1- (The Old Testament Haggai 2:6-7): This is what the Lord Almighty says: “In a little while I will once more shake the heavens and the earth, the sea and the dry land… And I will shake all nations, and the Himadaof all the nations will come; and I will fill this house with glory, says the Lord of hosts.”
The good news of his advent and the word "Himada" in the original text of the Torah come from the same root as the name Muhammad in Arabic and the letters of the words Ahmad as “Ha, Mim and Dal” and they usually have the same meaning. So, the word which gives the meaning of the name of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is mentioned with "a magnificent event that will take place in the future" according to the expression of the verse.
So, what can be more magnificent than the advent of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who spread the existence of Allah (God) to billions after the Old Testament? So this verse of the Torah informs people about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Islam’s triumph over all world states, which is a magnificent and glorious event.

His name continues as long as the sun
The Psalms Informs People about Hz. Muhammad (pbuh)
His name continues as long as the sun
3- The following is said in brief in the Psalms 72, 2-19; “He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth. Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him. His enemies shall lick the dust. The kings of Tarshish and of the islands will bring tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts. Yes, all kings shall fall down before him. All nations shall serve him. For he will deliver the needy when he cries; the poor, who has no helper. He will have pity on the poor and needy. He will save the souls of the needy. He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence. Their blood will be precious in his sight. They shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba. Men shall pray for him continually. They shall bless him all day long. Abundance of grain shall be throughout the land. Its fruit sways like Lebanon. Let it flourish, thriving like the grass of the field. His name endures forever. His name continues as long as the sun. Men shall be blessed by him. All nations will call him "blessed." Blessed be his glorious name forever! Let the whole earth be filled with his glory!”
Anyone who listens to those sentences of the Psalms sanely will approve that they describe the Prophet (pbuh). All of the attributes mentioned in those verses of the Psalms are present in the Prophet (pbuh).
Up to this part of our work, we have studied some of the parts of the distorted Gospel, Torah and Psalms that indicated the Prophet (pbuh).

The Parable of Landowner
The Bible informs people about Hz. Muhammad (pbuh)
The Parable of Landowner
13. Jesus comes to Jerusalem. He starts to preach every day. However, the prominent people, oracles and religious scholars want to kill him. Jesus gives them the following message:
“If you do not believe in these truths, God will bestow them on another nation that will believe and live according to them…”
In one of his teachings, he explains the example given below and the truth behind it to the oracles;
The Parable of Landowner
(Matthew 21:33-46; Mark 12:1-12; Luke 20:9-19)
“Listen to another parable: There was a landowner who planted a vineyard. He put a fence around it, dug a pit for its winepress, and built a watchtower. Then he leased it to tenant farmers and went on a journey. When the harvest time was near, he sent his slaves to the tenants to collect his portion of the crop. But the tenants seized his slaves, beat one, killed another, and stoned another. Again he sent other slaves, more than the first, and they treated them the same way. Finally he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ But when the tenants saw the son, they said to themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and get his inheritance!’ So they seized him, threw him out of the vineyard, and killed him. Now when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?”
They replied to Jesus as follows:
“He will utterly destroy those evil men! Then, he will lease the vineyard to other tenants who will give him his portion at the harvest...”
Jesus asked them:
“Have you not ever read in the scriptures? “The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone. This is from the Lord, and it is marvelous in our eyes!” For this reason, I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit. The one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces, and the one on whom it falls will be crushed.”
When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they realized that he was speaking about them. They wanted to arrest him, but they were afraid of the crowds, because the crowds regarded him as a prophet.
and (Matthew 21:43)
“…For this reason I tell you that the kingdom of God will be taken from you and given to a people who will produce its fruit…”
“The Stone” stated in those sentences is definitely the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the people who will be given the property of God are the ummah (community) of Islam… The efforts of interpreting “the stone” as Jesus by Christian scholars are in vain.
1- It is certainly understood from the sentence that the person explained with the stone will be different from Jesus, who is claimed to be the son of God. (God forbid).
2- According to their claim, Jesus was killed by Jews. Is it not appropriate to ask what is the point of falling of the stone on them as the one on whom it falls will be crushed?
3- Jesus (AS) said in the Bible of John, 12:47; “If anyone hears my words and does not obey them, I do not judge him. For I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world…” as this is against the function being a “stone” as explained above because according to the expression of the Bible, the one on whom this stone falls will crush him, and the one who falls on this stone will be broken into pieces.”
4- In Psalms, it is stated that it was astonishing that the stone became the cornerstone with the expression, “… and it is marvelous in our eyes.” According to the claim of Christians, David respected Jesus so much that –God forbid- he used to think that Jesus is God. So why does he find it astonishing that Jesus is the cornerstone? So, this person must be different from Jesus and his prophethood must be regarded astonishing. The reality behind this is as follows: Since the Sons of Israel were not born from Hz. Hagar and do not come from this family, they see the Sons of Ishmael as equal to them; and actually not any prophets coming from the family of Ishmael may be the cause of their bewilderment.
5- The prophet Muhammad (PBUH), whose trueness and rightness is proved by certain proofs, expressed in the following hadith that the stone was himself:
“The simile of the prophets before me and me is like a mansion which is made so beautiful but a stone of it is missing. The people who look at it are amazed with its beauty; however, they wonder about the missing stone. Here that mansion is completed with me and the prophethood ends with me.”
16-)
I will make him into a great nation
The Torah Informs People about Hz. Muhammad (pbuh)
I will make him into a great nation
6- Genesis 21, 12-21 : But God said to Abraham, “Do not be upset about “the boy or your slave wife.” Do all that Sarah is telling you because through Isaac your descendants will be counted. But I will also make the son of the slave wife into a great nation, for he is your descendant too.” Early in the morning Abraham took some food and a skin of water and gave them to Hagar. He put them on her shoulders, gave her the child, and sent her away. So she went wandering aimlessly through the wilderness of Beer Sheba. When the water in the skin was gone, she shoved the child under one of the shrubs. Then she went and sat down by herself across from him at quite a distance, about a bowshot away; for she thought, “I refuse to watch the child die.” So she sat across from him and wept uncontrollably. But God heard the boy’s voice.”
“The angel of God called to Hagar from heaven and asked her, “What is the matter, Hagar? Don’t be afraid, for God has heard the boy’s voice right where he is crying. Get up! Help the boy up and hold him by the hand, for I will make him into a great nation.”Then God enabled Hagar to see a well of water. She went over and filled the skin with water, and then gave the boy a drink. God was with the boy as he grew. He lived in the wilderness and became an archer. He lived in the wilderness of Paran. His mother found a wife for him from the land of Egypt.
In this part of the Torah, it is stated that a nation will be created from Hz. Hagar’s son. This nation is the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the ummah of Islam. For, no other prophets came from the descendants of Hz. Ishmael except the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
17-)
The Community Moses saw in the Torah
The Torah Informs People about Hz. Muhammad (pbuh)
The Community Moses saw in the Torah
7- The Old Testament, Genesis, 17
“Verily God told Abraham that Hagar -the mother of Isma‘il- will bear children. There will emerge from her sons one whose hand will be above all, and the hands of all will be opened to him in reverence.”
These expressions of the Torah also inform us about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). As we have explained before, no other prophets came from the descendants of Ishmael, who was the son of Hagar, except the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
8- The Old Testament, Isaiah, 42
“Moses said: “O Lord! Verily I have found in the Torah the best of Communities that will emerge for the benefit of humanity, that will enjoin good and forbid wrong, and that will believe in God. Let it be my Community!” God said: “That is the Community of Muhammad…”
The name Muhammad is mentioned as Mushaffah, Munhamanna, and Himyata, in the form of Assyrian names in Hebrew, in the heavenly books. The name Muhammad in its original form was present only in a few places. And those few occurrences were distorted by Jews. Besides, the sentences that Moses made to describe the community he saw in the Torah are very interesting.
When Moses described that community, he said, “They are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah.” The same words are used in verse 110 of the chapter of Aal-i Imran in the Quran:
“Ye are the best of peoples, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah”
As it is seen, there is a complete conformity between the expression of Moses in the Torah and the verse in the Quran. This conformity proves that the community that Moses saw was the ummah of Muhammad.
18-)
Changing Customs
Let us think of a small society! A society whose people are extremely stubborn and are loyal to their traditions just like flesh and bone.
Let us think that you are an important judge in such a society.
Although you are an important judge, to what extent can you change the traditions of this stubborn society by working hard and replace them with high ethics?
Let us think of the following too before answering this question:
A father sometimes cannot change the bad habits of his son despite his advice.
A teacher sometimes cannot demolish the bad ethics of his/her students.
Despite all kinds of harsh punishment, crimes such as theft cannot be prevented.
A doctor cannot cause an addictive person to give up smoking…
Now, as a great judge, how many of the customs could we change in such a stubborn society and how long would it take?
It is clear that a great judge can only cause to give up a small custom in a small society such as smoking temporarily. However, Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) managed to eliminate many great customs from a stubborn society whose people were strictly loyal to their traditions in a very short time with a very limited power and aid. He replaced those customs with such high ethics that it is matchless in history.
We show the Arabian Peninsula to those who did not see Hz. Muhammad's ((pbuh) Era of Bliss and say to them, "Take hundreds of philosophers there and work there for a hundred years. Can you do only one percent of what the Prophet did there?" We advise those who do not see this reality to look at the Arabian Peninsula.

Hz. Muhammad (PBUH) in the Bible
The Heavenly Books Inform People about Hz. Muhammad (pbuh).
Who is the ruler of the world mentioned in the Bible?
Who is the person who will be the ruler of the world after Hz. Isa (Jesus)?
8- (John 16: 7): "But I tell you the truth: It is for your good that I am going away. Unless I go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
Who other than Hz. Muhammad (PBUH) exists in this world and gives real consolation to the mankind? Yes, it is the prophet (PBUH) that saves ephemeral people from eternal execution of death and gives them real consolation.
9- (John 14: 30): Jesus said; “I shall not speak with you for much longer, for the ruler of the world is coming, and I am nothing compared with him.“
10- (John 16:8): Jesus said; “…When he comes, he will give the world convincing evidence concerning its sin, its righteousness, and its judgment.”
After the Prophet Jesus (AS), who came other than the Prophet Muhammad (PUBH) as the master of the world and distinguished the right from the wrong and showed humans the true path?
And who is worthy of having the title of “the ruler of the world” other than him?
And which prophet after Hz. Dawud (AS) other than the prophet Muhammad (PBUH) spread his religion from the west to the east and established a tax system in countries and conquered the hearts of sultans and one fifth of the humanity praised him with prayers and glorification every day? Who can other than Hz. Muhammad (PBUH) be shown as a single person who performed them all?
So, the expression used for the person after the Jesus (AS) in the Bible as “the ruler of the world” is for the prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
His famous title is “the pride of universe”.

The Person whose advent is given as good news in the Torah
The Torah Informs People about Hz. Muhammad (pbuh)
3- The Old Testament, the Book of Deuteronomy, 18:18
“I will raise up a prophet like you for them from among their fellow Israelites. I will put my words in his mouth and he will speak to them whatever I command.”
4- (The New Testament, Acts of the Apostles 3:22)
“Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like mefrom among your brothers. You must obey him in everything he tells you. Every person who does not obey that prophet will be destroyed and thus removed from the people.’ And all the prophets, from Samuel and those who followed him, have spoken about and announced these days.”
Now let us analyze these two sentences taken from the Bible:
1- The addressing of Hz. Moses as “your brothers” the sons of Israelites, who were coming from the race of Ishaq, who was the son of Hz. Abraham, is a sign for the descendants of Hz. Ishmael who was the brother of Hz. Ishaq, that is, for the sons of Ishmael. The prophet who came from the sons of Ishmael can only be the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) because only the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) came from the race of Ishmael. Hz. Joshua and Jesus did not come from the descendants of Hz. Ishmael but from the sons of Israel.
2- By saying “a prophet like me”, Hz. Moses implied the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). For it is the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) who resembles Hz. Moses by up to twenty qualities such as jihad, the laws and rules that he imposed, the punishments he imposed and his community’s obedience to him… but not Hz. Joshua or Jesus (AS).
3- The expression in the verse, “I will put my words in his mouth” is an implication for the illiteracy of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and though he did not know how to read and write, he memorized the word of Allah easily and read it to people. This news came true as exactly as it had been said.
And we want to point out to an expression that is present in the verses 18 and 19 of The Old Testament, the Book of Deuteronomy: In these sentences, it is emphasized “that prophet speaks with Lord’s name”. One of the most important characteristics of the Qur’an that was revealed to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is that, 113 surahs of 114 starts with “Basmala” that is “B-ismi-llahi r-rahmani r-rahim” ("In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful"). Besides, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) started reading the verses of the Quran and everything with Basmala and advised his ummah to do so. Thus, the person about whom the good news was given in the Old Testament and was stated that he would start with Allah’s name is the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
21-)
The person who appeared in splendor at Mount Paran
5- The Old Testament, the Book of Deuteronomy, 33:2 : “The Lord came from Sinai and revealed himself to Israel from Seir. He appeared in splendor from Mount Paran, and came forth with ten thousand holy ones. With his right hand he gave a fiery law to them.”
1- In this expression of the Torah: “coming from Sinai” is a sign for Hz. Moses and the revelation of divine commandments to him; on the other hand, “revealing from Seir” is a sign for Jesus and the revelation of Bible to him, and finally “the splendor at Mount Paran” is a sign for the Prophet Muhammad’s appearance in Mecca. Since Paran is pronounced as Faran in Arabic language and Faran is one of the old names of Mecca.
Besides, the sentences that Hz. Ishmael resides in the desert of Paran in Genesis in the Old Testament are also proof for this.
For Hz. Ishmael (AS) used to reside in Mecca. So, Paran is Mecca with the sign of the Old Testament.
With the expression of the Torah, Allah informs that “this splendor is at Mount Paran”. Who can be this splendor other than the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)?
2- What is meant with holy ones in the expression given as “came forth with ten thousand holy ones” is Prophet Muhammad’s Ahl al-Bayt and his Companions. In a very short time, this holy community reached up to ten thousands even hundreds of thousands.
3- The expression “The fiery law on the right” stands for jihad and it is a sign that future prophets have a duty of jihad. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his community are responsible for jihad; so, the person indicated in the related expression proves that this person is the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). So, this expression of the Torah informs about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) with triple signs.
22-)
The Person whose Sultanate will continue till Doomsday
The Torah Informs People about Hz. Muhammad (pbuh)
The Person whose Sultanate will continue till Doomsday
10- The Old Testament, Daniel, chapter 2: In this chapter, Nebuchadnezzar, who subverted the state of Assyria, who made the city of Babylon a center and who reigned for forty-three years, the dream he saw and Daniel, who interpreted his dream are mentioned. The summary of the story is as follows:
Daniel, who was in the prison of cruel Nebuchadnezzar, told the king about his dream before Nebuchadnezzar told Daniel about his dream. The king confirmed what he said in astonishment and said, “This was the dream, and now interpret it to me.” Daniel said:
“That sculpture is the dominion in the world. You are the head of it. After you, another kingdom will rise; it is represented by silver since it is inferior to yours. Then, two more kingdoms will come and will enlarge. Another kingdom of iron will crush and break all the others. Then, it will be replaced by many kingdoms, some of which are strong and some weak; iron and clay cannot be mixed; similarly those kingdoms will not come together and unite. Then, God will demolish those kingdoms and will send a real sultanwhose sultanate will continue till Doomsday; that holy person will lead people to bliss in the world an in the hereafter. This is the meaning of the enlargement of the rock that fell from the sky in your dream and broke the idol into pieces.“
Those sentences of the Torah, through which the dream that Daniel interpreted is narrated, inform us about a holy person who will continue living until Doomsday with the religion that he will bring. There is no doubt that that person is our Prophet (pbuh). For, the Prophet (pbuh) broke the idols into pieces and conquered the world with his material sultanate and the hearts with his spiritual sultanate.
23-)
Testimony of Yahya (John)
11- “The testimony of John the Baptist is as follows; He confessed – he did not deny but confessed – “I am not the Christ!” So they asked him, “Then who are you? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not!” “Are you that Prophet?” He answered, “No!”…” (John 1:20-21)
The prophet John (Yahya) is asked three questions and his answers to all of the three questions are negative:
a. Are you the Christ, that is, Jesus?
b. Are you Elijah?
c. Are you that Prophet?
So, three different prophets are mentioned in this sentence of the Bible of John.
They are 1- Jesus (AS), 2- Elijah and 3- That Prophet.
What is understood from these expressions is “that Prophet” is different from Jesus (AS). So, who is the person that revealed to the people what he heard from Allah and that not lived during the time of the Prophet Jesus and mentioned as “that Prophet” other than the Prophet Jesus? Of course; the prophet Muhammad (PBUH). For no other person apart from the Prophet Muhammad can be shown as the second person after Jesus (AS) who performed the duty of the prophethood and gained an important place in history.
24-)
Recognize them by their fruit
Recognize them by their fruit...
12- (Matthew 7:15-20) :
“Watch out for false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are voracious wolves. You will recognize them by their fruit. Grapes are not gathered from thorns or figs from thistles, are they? In the same way, every good tree bears good fruit, but the bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree is not able to bear bad fruit, nor a bad tree to bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. So then, you will recognize them by their fruit.”
No part of the Bible says that there is no prophet after Jesus. However, the following criterion is given in order to recognize the ones who claim prophethood:
“Recognize them by their fruit and identify the liar and truthful…”
If there had not been any prophets after Jesus, he could have given a short and decisive answer like this: “There will not be any prophets after me, He who claims prophethood after me, is definitely a liar.” So, the method of Jesus for identifying the liar and truthful prophet is a proof which is enough for the coming of a new prophet after Jesus.
The coming of a prophet after Jesus is also enough for the prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) because after Jesus, the fruitful result of the formation of the societies believing in Allah, relying on Allah, loving Allah and quitting idol worshipping was achieved only with the religion that was brought by the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
