1-) The Library in the Cell

There are billions of DNA molecules in one cell. The colors of eyes, fingerprints, a person’s voice, hair structure, and all data have been encoded in these DNA molecules.

Each of these DNA molecules that are found in one cell resembles a giant encyclopedia containing 46 volumes, all of which contain 20,000 pages, and does actually contain this much knowledge. A person has approximately 60 trillion cells.

If it is considered that the world’s greatest encyclopedia, the Britannica, contains 40,000 pages, the enormity of knowledge that a single DNA molecule carries will be better understood.

The knowledge that is 25 times greater than the knowledge of the world’s biggest encyclopedia has been placed into a cell’s DNA molecules that can only be seen after being magnified hundreds of times under a microscope.

Is it possible that such a brilliant work could have been an act of coincidence?

If the entire world were to gather to try and convince us that the Encyclopedia Britannica came into existence through coincidence, would we believe them? They would never be able to convince us!

Then how can we believe that DNA, which is hundreds of times more sophisticated than the aforementioned encyclopedia, has come into existence through causes or by chance?

2-) The Absurdity of Coincidence

If we were to roll a die, the odds of rolling a four are 1 out of 6. If we were to roll two dice at the same time, the probability of rolling a four for both is 1 out of 36. The odds of having both dice roll fours in two sets both times are 1 out of 1,296. The odds of having both dice roll fours after the dice are consecutively tossed four times are 1 out of 1,679,616.

If the probability of rolling '4' four times on end when you throw two dice is 1 out of 1,679,616, then what are the chances of the 206 bones found in the human body being in harmony with one another?

Let us suppose that all bones were created by coincidence and that we took these bones and put them in a bag. Every time we pulled a bone out of the bag, we tried to align it to the skeleton’s arrangement. When we pulled a wrong bone out of the bag, we placed the other bones that were picked and fitted correctly till then back into the bag and started over. What are the odds of correctly picking 206 bones? Such a number cannot even be expressed in trillions.

Do not forget that we made this account by accepting that the bones had been created by coincidence. What kind of account could be made for the probability of the bones being created by coincidence? What if an additional account was made, not just for the bones found in people, but for all people sharing the same bone structure made from the same mineral, and what if animals were added to this account?

Could such a probability be accounted and could these numbers be expressed?

Then, only an insane person can claim that the universe emerged as a result of coincidences.

Do those who try to explain creation through coincidence by denying the existence of Allah not consider what kind of a possibility they will have to accept?

3-) Do honeybees have thermometers?

The temperature of a honeycomb has to be 35 degrees Celsius for the infant honeybees to be born.

If the temperature dropped to 30 degrees Celsius, all baby honeybees would die.

Or if it rose to 40 degrees, this time disabilities or death would occur.

Yes, the temperature of a honeycomb must be exactly 35 degrees Celsius.

Well then, does the temperature not drop or rise? Of course, it drops and rises. However, the honeybees have found a solution to it, too. When the temperature drops to 30 degrees, the bees mount on top of the honeycomb and try to raise the temperature to 35 degrees by shivering. They fulfill the role of a heater so to speak. If the temperature rises to 40 degrees, they will flap their wings to cool the comb as if they are fulfilling the role of a fan.

If it is not accepted that this wise activity takes place as a result of Allah's inspiration,

It can be no one but Allah who educates the bee perfectly and teaches it its duty.

1. How do the bees know that the temperature of the honeycomb has to be 35 degrees?

2. Let us suppose that they do know. Then from where did they learn this technique of heating the comb?

3. Who taught them to flap their wings when the temperature of the honeycomb rises to cool it?

4. First of all, do the bees have thermometers to know the temperature? How do they measure the temperature of the comb?

5. Why is it so important for them that the infant bees live? Why do they not enjoy the remainder of their one or two week lives instead of preoccupying themselves with saving the babies?

4-) Atmosphere, the Protective Roof

The atmosphere is a gas ocean that has been formed by various gases and that is harder than rock; it is 1000 km above the ground level. One of its duties is to prevent rays that may be harmful for living creatures and not to let them come down to the earth. When we consider non-living gases as the doer of this sapient act, we will have to accept the following wrong ideas:

1- The atmosphere must know the body structure of living creatures in order to know which rays of the sun are harmful for them. Of course, it must know the creatures so that it can distinguish what is harmful from what is useful for them. And this is only possible by having a pervasive knowledge.

2- It is not enough to know the living creatures. It must also know the rays of the sun. For, distinguishing the harmful from the useful and sending them with a certain amount is only possible by knowing those rays. In order to do this, it must have every kind of tools and even an advanced laboratory so that it can distinguish between the harmful and the useful and know which ray and what amount is necessary to be sent. This would require the atmosphere to have attributes such as knowledge, wisdom, will and power.

3- Suppose that it knows the bodies of living beings with its knowledge and measures the rays of the sun with its tools. Not sending the harmful rays of the sun is a sign of compassion and mercy. However, those non living and unconscious particles cannot have such mercy.

So, denying Allah (God) means to accept the existence of an atmosphere that has knowledge, wisdom and mercy.

However, Allah Almighty who creates the canopy of heaven as a protective shield for the continuation of life on earth states the following in verse 32 of the Surah of al-Anbiya:

“And We have made the heavens as a canopy well-guarded: Yet do they turn away from the Signs which these things (point to)!”

5-) Miracle in Rain

Have you ever thought of rain? In what way? We can think several aspects of rain.

Let us have a look at how it rains.

Raindrops are 6 mm. in diameter. They are never any bigger. They never touch one another while raining. Something dropped from above increases its speed due to the effect of gravity; however, a tiny raindrop falls at a fixed speed, virtually challenging gravity. This event has several vital reasons. If a raindrop dropped in accordance with the law of gravity from a few thousand meters, it would fall on earth like a bullet.

Fast, piercing and destructive…

Leaving aside the hundreds of wise activities in the formation of rain, we want to ask the following questions:

1- Who arranges the size of raindrops? Who prevents them from becoming bigger?

2- Millions of raindrops do not touch one another while falling down toward the earth despite the effect of the wind. Who (What powerful being) prevents them from touching one another?

3- Raindrops fall at a fixed speed despite the law of gravity. Who (What merciful being) do not allow them to fall like bullets?

4- Raining like this necessitates a doer.

Then, who sends down rain wisely and gives life to the earth with rain?

6-) Who established this system?

Let alone dealing with the world, if we look at only a seed, we will see that even a seed is concerned with its flower, species and the universe.

It is concerned with its flower since the flower’s entire program is hidden in the seed.

It is concerned with its species in this way: Although flowers of the same species are planted at different times, they will bloom flowers on the same day. Why does it happen? It is because only through this manner can they reproduce. Pollination occurs through insects and bees transferring the pollen that sticks to their wings to another individual flower of the same species. If they had not bloomed flowers on the same day, then their species would have been extinct long ago.

As for their relations with the entire universe, every flower and plantact like experts to maintain the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide. They maintain this balance by producing oxygen for a lifetime. Those flowers that breathe in carbon dioxide for a lifetime breathe out oxygen when they die.

If carbon dioxide were to increase in the atmosphere, all flowers would accelerate their breathing.

If it is claimed that Allah did not establish these relations and this system, we want to ask the following questions:

1. Even a seed is concerned with everything. Who established these relations among the creatures?

2. Who keeps all of the organs of a flower in a seed? Who makes that seed a small box for the flower? Who writes the program of the flower in the seed?

3. The flowers that are planted on different days bloom on the same day. How do those flowers communicate? How do they decide when to bloom? How does the seed that is spread into the ground later than the others speed its growth and bloom on the same day?

4. Plants and flowers work very hard to maintain the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. How do those plants, which have no intelligence, work like a chemical engineer? What instruments do they use for their measurements? Why is the continuation of life so important for them?

These questions can only be answered as 'because of Allah'.

7-) The Garment Called Body

The garment of a one-year old person does not fit him when he is five years old;  the garment of a five-year old a person does not fit him when he is ten years old; the garment of a ten-year old person does not fit him when he is twenty years old. That is, as the man grows up, his clothes become smaller. However, there is a garment of man that never becomes smaller as he grows up and that is the garment called body.

So, who is the tailor that increases the size of the garment calledbody as it grows, enlarges it as it gets fat, shrinks as it thins and sews it up neither too narrow nor too large?

Use the same example for the animals and plants. You will see that those living creatures are clothed and shaped wonderfully too.

Yes, whom you can show other than Allah who clothes all these creatures with the best clothes, shapes and figures them in the best way and changes them from one form to another?

8-) The Heat Balance of the World

While heat reaches up to 15 million degrees C in the stars like the sun, it goes down to an incredible level, -270°C, in the dark sea of space. The width of the band in which living beings can live in this extraordinary difference is only one in125 thousand. The average heat of the world is in this width.

If the world could not keep its current heat and left the band of heat it is in, life in the world would end. If the world was as close to the sun as Venus or as far away from the sun as Jupiter, there would be no life on earth. If the rate of heat coming from the sun decreased 10%, the earth would be covered by a thick layer of snow and ice; if it increased a bit, the world would be scorched. Even a small amount of change took place in these values, life in this world would be eliminated.

Is this distance between the world and the sun based on coincidence?

Is it the result of random coincidence that the world has the optimum temperature among millions of possibilities? Yes, this balance, which is visible in everything and exists in everything from the distance between the world and the sun to the temperature in which living beings can live and which is very delicate, can be explained only by Allah, who has endless power, knowledge, will and mercy, by nothing else.

9-) Coincidence is unacceptable

Let us place a monkey in front of a typewriter. Let us suppose that the monkey randomly touches the keys on the typewriter. Would it be possible for a meaningful word, sentence, or page to form? Is the composition of a meaningful book within the realms of this possibility? Definitely not! If we sat a monkey in front of the keyboard, the odds of it typing the letter “O” would be 1 out of 29. The probability of typing “OX” is 1 out of 841. For example, the odds of typing “ETERNAL” are (1/297), so that is 1 out of 17.249.876.309, which is impossible in terms of time.

Are humans and animals not more excellent than a seven-letter word? Putting living beings aside, when we look at one DNA, we can find 3.5 billion nucleotides, which are 3.5 billion letters, in just one DNA molecule. If the odds of a seven-letter word forming by coincidence are 1 out of 17.249.876.309, then what are the odds of 3.5 billion letters coincidentally forming in a single DNA?

Yes, if those who try to explain creation through coincidence by denying the existence of Allah examined the real nature of the thing that they accept carefully and justly, they themselves would wonder how they accepted that idea.

10-) A letter cannot be without a scribe

If we had an inkstand with ink and spilt the ink onto an empty piece of paper, no meaningful page would appear. In that case, we can say, “The meaning on this page disaffirms and eliminates the ink’s claim of being the scribe because this would show the meaning on the page and the ink possessing freewill, strength, and knowledge. The ink does not have these qualities; therefore, it cannot be this page’s scribe.” If the entire world were to gather, they would still be unable to convince us that the word and sentences on this page, both of which signify meaning, appeared by coincidence.

Is the universe not a kind of meaningful book, too? How can one believe that this meaningful book came into existence through will-less and powerless reasons that are without knowledge like ink?

How can a person who knows that a village cannot be without a headman, a pin cannot be without a master and a letter cannot be without a scribe believe that this universe, which has a perfect order and system, can be without an owner and sultan?

11-) Without Spilling Water

We cannot run with a glass of water without spilling it.

In fact, those who rotate the tray that have glasses on it with a fast movement are applauded. And we watch them in amazement. However, an action which is million times more wonderful than that is always in front of our eyes. However, being accustomed to it does not let us see it. Yes, our world revolves around its own axis with a speed of 1800 km and again revolves around the sun with a speed of 107.000 km.

It flies away without overflowing, spilling those large oceans and not moving the mountains or throwing other living creatures to the outer space. It flies away but we never ever see this wonderful action and never remember Allah, who is the doer of it.
